Oo... Is ur flash player got problem?? Last time i also test my 1mbps line and got 6mbps result. I rmb i on the speedtest then go touch other thing then come back and see the rediculous result. hahaha

I didnt know that... but testing with download direct file fro fast server... can get minima 1.4Mbps speed...


ps: my torrent now 900kbps download... lol...

Can u use MBps and Mbps wisely? MB stands for Mega byte, Mb stands for Mega bit... It's pretty confusing.

here is the rule of Thumb for Computing world:
1 Byte = 8 bit(s) biggrin.gif
1 Mbps = 128 kBps = 1024 kbps

until today 16/5 oso no calls or watsover from tm ..

wonder if my application actually went in... can i call them to enquire?

i applied last thursday 13/5

didn't receive any calls and went to tmpoint to check again yesterday

When the receptionist check they said my application status is "Peringkat Awal"

means need to wait longer...

Go there again and ask for confirmation slip. But u can check at mips.tm.net.my first. If ur application is inside the system then ok. If not, means ur application is still not inside tm's system. Flame them and ask them to process on-the-spot. Get the slip as well. They need to key in everything in order to print it out.

Stamp Duty rm 10, Deposit RM75, RM50 connection fees
i thought the connection fees waived?

You don't pay the upfront.. you only pay,

RM 75 (Deposit) + RM 10 (Stamp Duty) = RM 85, This is for new line only.

I'm very sure you don't have to pay anything else other than the above at the TMPoint counter...


Infact, those that terminate + reapply don't have to pay anything.

Zepx- the RM50 charge as i seen from the receipt they issue to me is for Bil Bayaran Sekaligus (single charges)...confusing haha thx anyway smile.gif i shall check with the 1st month bill see whether are there any charges on it or not

Unfortunately, I only paid RM 85... and a friend of mine who canceled, and reapply paid nothing becausse he decides to you use back his phone line..

Please do call them up also. Last time when i send in my 4Mbps application. They rejected it also didnt tell me.
Cuz their technician already check cabling outside and say that it is too far away from the exchange server.
Twice send,twice rejected. Sigh.

Have you ask them how far is your line from the exchange? I'm having the same issue that you have, over 3km from the exchange, but I still can get 4Mbps support.

Can you check your ADSL parameters and post here?

These are my ADSL parameters reading:

Mode: ADSL2+
SNR Margin: > 20dB
Attenuation: < 40dB
Attainable Rate: > 5Mbps
