Okay I went to TMPoint

It seems that my package was in fact upgraded to 4Mbps UniPack (although MIPS shows that its being processed). Nevertheless those who are using 4Mbps and upgrading to 4Mbps , will not get the free wifi modem package and other freebies that TM throw. Basically if you upgrade , you don't get it. Its only meant for new users - in other words you have not applied streamyx before or you've canceled and reapplying

The reason why I did not want to go through the hassle of doing that is that , I got a nice port , I got 218.111 IP , my line is capped higher and pretty much I've a good SNR margin , and the list goes on and on

Basically I am not sure if I am on the 4Mbps Streamyx Combo or 4Mbps UniPack. As for HP , how do I call out and find. She said that well since my account is already "activated" , hp will call me within 14 days from the date I've registered regarding my netbook

i'm not sure too.. tats HP helpline. u shud receive an email from TM about ur order number in ur tm streamyx email or provided email.

but since i did not receive any mails from TM, so i'm not sure how exactly they work.. nevertheless, i ady got my netbook.

u can call up the no and provide them with the homeline no u registered for unipack and see wat they say..

The black netbook is specially made for TM. You cannot choose other colour, as well as sub-model number like you see many out in the market/on HP site. So, considered limited edition from TM.

Its in your MIPS printout (that is if you got one). It contains your streamyx login as well as password and email.

Its all the same. Streamyx Zone ID = streamyx login (well, applies for me, and for a few, so all should be similar).

it depends on ur distance to ur house from DSLAM

u should call the number and provide them the telephone that u subscribe to unipack......normally the day after the technician came to ur place.....my technician came on monday, i called the HP no on tuesday nothing yet, on wednesday i called they said they rcv the order edy in the morning....dun have to wait for any e mail from TM or HP.....just give ur phone no

There were some ppl who upgraded and got the netbook...
and my friends that cancel and re-register and also got the netbook...


for the netbook... maybe u shud wait at least a week...
i got a call from hp in less than a week though, before that there were no emails or any news abt the netbook...

and when i call that number, they just needed my IC num.. but they said no orders for me , but few days later they end up calling me also

Aawww. I emailed them actually, but they don't allow. Besides, its limited edition. you go HP buy same mini, you cannot get it totally black.

u can ask technician...but for my case, i can see where my telephone line goes...by car or by bicycle follow my telephone line....then comes to DSLAM..my distance around 1km less...its near

Hi, May i know does the netbook from HP got installed with a 3G module inside? So i can put my sim card and enjoy surfing..

Just wondering, is anyone here from Ujong Pasir, Melaka area? Is there 4mb line available?
