thanks prasys for the very informative reply
i was thinking with the netbook, just do some normal net surfing, a bit of dl and assignments(at times when my desktop is unavailable) of course. should be ok right?
so u're saying i should go tmpoint and submit my Unipack application form instead of give those agents?
As much as I would like to upgrade, my homeline and streamyx line is under my aunt's name.
due to this, I read in 1st page of thread, its not quite possible to upgrade right? my only option is to :
1. apply new homeline/streamyx
2. terminate, wait 30 days then apply new.(i understand that i'll have no phone/streamyx to use for 30 days and lose my current home number?)
Again 10" is small , if you just wanna do minor editing its fine.
Just apply for a new phoneline
Again , it all boils down on how you handle. This is why I dont trust agents. I know of good agents , but I just don't go and pick one random agent and ask him to apply. All they care is about commission. If you're thinking of helping the poor chap whos working as an agent just because of your own personal reason. Go ahead , but don't come and complain saying that your application got delayed
There are some good and honest agents , but most of them (sorry to say if you're an agent or sort) are just looking for quick way to make money.
Same applies to my 4Mbps Streamyx case. I just waited for a month or two before requesting them to set me at higher speed as I was getting only 2.6Mbps out of 4. At least now I am getting 4Mbps. Here are some few tips you could use :-
When complaining - be reasonable , dont demand much. Just wait and see what is their reply. Else , take one step further , just don't go straight away on bashing. Most likely they are going to hate you and umm you dont want that - only use on extreme cases
After your complain has been resolved , thank them Thats what I do. I just send one letter to their customer care and cc one to MCMC . This way there will be a healthy relationship
