i see...now i understand...sori bro for my little knowledge about apple products....i got to make more revision about it....OS 4 really interesting...but i'm really sorry for 1st gen iphone coz they dont have any chance to upgrade their OS...little bit upset for them
*
Why upset...? Should be happy that 1st gen iPhone had the chance to have two major upgrades since its launch, while some other comparably-priced phones don't even get any.

It does not support the first gen most probably because of the new coming multitasking capability.

Although multitasking is something to look up to but previously iPhone did great without multitask so I believe 1gen iPhone and 3g version still had the market besides iPhone is the best entertaiment smart phone currently

Wifi? Nobody complain on wifi problem. That means it's not OS version is the problem. Rather the phone itself

I thought recently the wifi inconsistent issue is only related to iPad.

So sad man...fortunately I don't have any wifi issue with my iPhone...if you are using Maxis set why not just send it for warranty ?

Because iPhone 3G hardware is unable to support the multi-tasking function?

What fair or not about it?

I don't they will allow you to force the iphone using the multitasking function with sluggish and lagging performance. Later how are they going to sell the phone equipped with OS 4.0?

Come buy iPhone 3G at store with sluggish performance and lags? If the hardware is not good enough to support it then it can't be done. Just get better phone.

Then it is fair =P

There are tons of complain (10k post complaining i think) in Apple forum regarding wifi issues after upgrading to 3.0 firmware. Include non-jb and jb.

Maxis set. The previous set encounter wifi problem after jb. Then i thought, wifi chip burnt. Then i get a replacement set. 2 days after that, I jb again, then the wifi fakap again. And that's me wonder either its OS problem or hardware problem.

As for hardware, using terminal (jb) wifi chip is available.

if you are staying on it's original firmware is there any wifi issue?

Yeah. After I receive my replacement set, JB, then the wifi gone. At 1st, my iphone barely to get the signal although i place besides the router. After a while, doesn't detect at all.
