I wonder if you upgrade to iphone 4.0 OS, will you able to JB it? Are you guys waiting for the JB to be released for 4.0 only upgrade?

of coz multitasking can be enabled for 3g,since its a feature built into OS 4.0 itself,jz tht it is disabled for 3g for some certain known reasons
*
I think i read somewhere where the article says that, the option to enable multitasking in OS 4 is only a single line. By enabling multitasking in 3G which low ram compare to 3GS, is undesirable. Customer will complaint for sure if their 3G lagging.

However, come to conclude that, we have VRAM mod in order to increase our ram. biggrin.gif

Does multitasking is the same with backgrounder app when we jb? I bet so? sweat.gif

Wifi? Nobody complain on wifi problem. That means it's not OS version is the problem. Rather the phone itself

There are tons of complain (10k post complaining i think) in Apple forum regarding wifi issues after upgrading to 3.0 firmware. Include non-jb and jb.

So sad man...fortunately I don't have any wifi issue with my iPhone...if you are using Maxis set why not just send it for warranty ?
*
Maxis set. The previous set encounter wifi problem after jb. Then i thought, wifi chip burnt. Then i get a replacement set. 2 days after that, I jb again, then the wifi fakap again. And that's me wonder either its OS problem or hardware problem.

As for hardware, using terminal (jb) wifi chip is available.

You jailbreak it and made the wifi fakap isn't it?

if you are staying on it's original firmware is there any wifi issue?
*
Yeah. After I receive my replacement set, JB, then the wifi gone. At 1st, my iphone barely to get the signal although i place besides the router. After a while, doesn't detect at all.
