wanna to ask about 55-200mm nikon lens af-s f4-5.6~ is better or 18-200 tamron 3.5-5.6f better? wondering which one to buy = =" budget budget ^^~

Sure..maybe photography can replace my hobby sooner or later

i'd seriously rather u get the 55-200.. though the non-constant aperture is a little turn-off

it will.. with us around u dun need to worry

depends on wat u nid or prefer
u jz wan the extra zoom range then get 55-200 VR, better in IQ n got VR
u wan versatility or lazy change lens then get 18-200, but i suggest get Sigma 18-200 OS if u reli want, but higher price at rm1.8k

cause i get 2nd hand stuff for 18-200 tamron 600 bucks or 55-200 2nd hand lens 600~650 ~ T_T i dunno choose which one T_T i am using kits lens 18-55

i prefer the IQ n sharpness of it over the softness of 18-200

I would go with the 55-200 VR since you've the 18-55 VR kit lens. That 18-200 is probably soft at the tele end anyways, so stick to the 55-200 VR.

PS, does that Tamron has VC? You will appreciate the VR at 200mm.

thats the lousy thing abt Tamron all-in-1 zoom lenses, only the high end 18-270 has VC

18-200 tammy no VC . so goes to 55-200 VR

18-55 not for sale hahaha is my 1st lens and it never for sale XD ^^ hmmm but now tammy 18-200 new is how much ar? just now i when to nikon centre test the 18-200 vr 2 f 3.5-5.6 damn cun XD poisoned XD but too expensive 2.7k T_T... So should i go for nikon 55-200 ?

18-55 and 55-200 combo is the way to go compared to Tammy 18-200.

18-55 and 55-200 combo also better IQ than 18-200. But if you priorities convenient over IQ, then dunno lor.

haha why not sell the kit len and go for the 18-105 VR which cost less than rm1 k
well if u really interested with taking birds or sport car /man photography then u ll need the 200mm
without the VR/VC its so hard to get nice pics especially for cigarette smoker like me

wen116 already mention not selling 18-55 because it is wen116's first lens. So 55-200 is the way to go . 18-55 is a good kit anyways, worth keeping.

Haha, my friend's wedding was that way. There was a table of photogs (my group) and when he came in flashes was everywhere LOL. Just like celebrity getting married.
