i rather get Sigma, their HSM is on par with Nikon's SWM
Tamron's AF motor darn slow
n only the 18-270 has VC, which is quite expensive
Sigma 18-200 has OS n suits your budget, abt rm1800+

man im going to change my old lens 24-120mm if ed vr today...what very good lens is around RM1800 ???
*
i think the only other nikkor lens around that range n price is 16-85 VR, but feels like overpriced to me :S prefer 18-105 rm1.2k only

sigma 18-200 OS HSM, tamron 17-50/2.8 VC, 24-75/2.8

Active D-Lighting and noise reduction makes the pics longer to appear, cuz need more processing time

u can turn both off if u want. active d-lighting is pretty neat, but noise reduction i see macam no effect on my gf's D60 tongue.gif
