you can get it around RM2700-2800. okay for u? sell ur 18-55 kit lens lah, u wont need it anymore if u get 18-200

do u have any with large file size.. from the pics i've seen in large formats, i find it still soft.

18-55 is only rm350-400

if u really want something good allrounder and u dun need the 100-200 range, get the 18105 VR instead. it's sharper than 1855 and 18135. u can sell ur 1855..

anyway i agree, if u dun need 105-200, juz get 18-105... better quality, cheaper size n smaller n lighter. juz scared in the future u think about getting 70-300 again ;P if u really decide u only want one lens, 18-200 it is! sure the pic is a bit soft but very convenient lens

2 versions of 18-200mm are using same VRII technology. The main difference is the new revision has zoom lock, to prevent lens creeping and gold VR stamping instead of red. optically both are the same.

then what u need is D90 and above range of bodies instead of D40-D5k rather than wasting time one purchasing mediocore lenses.

Nikkor 50mm f1.8 < RM3xx

50mm f/1.8 is the cheapest among other 50mm (around RM350-380), but only able to manual focus on D40-D5k bodies.
