oic...i tot it support both D and G lens...if hv to go for f/1.4 then might be over budget... cry.gif

btw wat's the diff between af and af-s?

AF means can autofocus if the camera got AF motor. if the camera dun have motor, then cannot autofocus

AF-S can autofocus cuz inside the lens already got AF motor, so if the camera dun have motor also can.

only us with d40-d5000 need to deal with this sad.gif

haizz...so sad...1.8k for 50mm i would rather go for speedlight..hahah

other difficulty i have is getting entire subject focused in in macro shots. is it coz i shoot to close? if i go further hard to keep stable then got slight blurring. sorry for the noob question guys -.-'

You will need to stop down your aperture, f/16 and above. If really can't then you need to move back already.

i use the standard one leh.

like if i take pic of 12" action figure the focus part is sharp but the extreme parts blurry.

What was your aperture? Share the picture along with EXIF.
