worst disease about HDR is ppl tend to overdo it~ about the AF assist light maybe some1 with a D5000 can help u with it. i can't~ ;p

But if still cant focus lock with the cameras' af light assist, it's either get flashgun with af light assist built in or use manual focus d.

may i know 2nd hand d5000 with len + di662 + slingbag ... 2.4k can buy mah? CS around 7k

That new model looks like either D300s' replacement or a model in between both of them. It is even using the semi pro's grip naming style. MB-D11, probably another weather sealed body.

imo not worth , save the money get lens better

as i said b4, it does not count as upgrade if frm D5000 to D90 as the performance is almost the same
unless u reli nid the top LCD, built in commander, n dual command dials, u dun get much extra
the body AF motor only allow u to to use 2 cheap lenses only, 50 1.8D n 70-300 non-VR, 35 f2 oso if u thk thats cheap
unless u wan buy old expensive lenses such as 85mm, i dun c the point of switching to D90 jz for the body AF motor

Agreed, u upgrade ur skill better, lol....... Upgrade a body doesnt make much diff since both r using the same sensor n size, make good use of ur articulating LCD screen la... now most of the good lens we use r equipped wit AF-S, only the cheap lens advantage is the 50mm F1.8, personally I think I would rather go for the 35mm one or even the 50mm F1.4^^
