that 1 i dunno, i yet to c any users here i thk, haha
u can ask Isepunye, he tested it in shop few days ago
*
tamron 1750 VC
mine is the latest batch but still feel not sharp enuff. cry.gif
the color are yellowish. sometimes my WB way too much off.
slow motor at low light
VC are good for slow shutter but i dnt need slow shutter for portraiture as i need to calculate their movement too.
sound like heavy duty machine. lol when VC working sound like 'tek' also scare me at first. after google up, then found it normal.
the light glare are horrible. when night photography, the light pecah too much. dont like it. kit lens better
heavier but shorter distance but im willing to walk abit to compensate the sharpness
very hard to zoom in and zoom out as it still tight. donno will get loose by day pass by
not really like the distortion at 17mm
not as sharp as it been describe. sux at F2.8 but still sharper the kit tongue.gif

sigma 1850
not really try yet as only tried at the shop
didnt try at 18mm yet
motor speed seem to be almost same
low light also abit slow IMO
nicer bokeh then tamron IMO
dont know loud or not as it was at shop. too noisy around there
the color are more like nikkor 1755 but abit pale diz is why i like more on sigma. (can optimize back using CS3 tongue.gif)
do i need slow shutter if i want to freeze the moment?

HDR is high dynamic range lah... not high definition tongue.gif

any photo got certain range of luminosity, from the darkest part of the photo to the brightest part. so the range from the darkest to brightest part is called the Dynamic Range lah.

but for cameras, the range is very small compared to our eyes. try go out during noon n take picture. always end up either subject lighting ok but sky too bright, or sky okay but subject too dark. our eyes dun have this problem, everything looks ok, bcause we have higher dynamic range compared to camera

so this HDR processing is a fake way of achieving a higher dynamic range on a camera. done by separately setting the camera to capture the top part of the range and the bottom part of the range. from my previous example, it's taking a photo of the subject-ok-but-sky-too-bright, then take photo of sky-ok-but-subject-too-dark, and combine both in photoshop. tada~

It is because the camera can't find anything to focus, it searching something to focus. If can't find, then you can't snap.

the lens is actually focusing in and out..not zooming. SLRs can never zoom themselves, need our hand to turn tongue.gif

u cant snap because ur camera was having difficulties to focus. since it's dark, the camera doesnt see anything so it doesnt know what to focus on. u shud turn on AF assist light for this situation, a small bulb in front of ur camera will light up ur subject for awhile to help the camera focus
