sadly the repeat just now has the same problem with the recent repeat of F1 qualifying where there are no sound... but from the quality of the video.. it is superb I think... beat F1!

sun spot activity going to peak in 2012, may be this is affecting the satellite

another interference is sun outage:
QUOTE(Radio-Electronics.com)
For geostationary satellites, solar outages occur around the equinoxes, i.e. March / April and then again in September / October. At these times of year the Sun crosses the equator and it traces an arc that places it directly behind geostationary satellites.

What kind of interference? Maybe you can explain a bit more. I didn't have any problem so far.

I might want to try this, if not possible:

Cooling of LNB to improve reception performance

Can you PM me where you buy the RM35 HDMI?
Hmmmm, I thought a decent HDMI cable should be good enough to handle digital signal.....
I'll test it out when my B.yond arrive.

Wah shocking.gif , this is real bad, was it raining or thundering at that moment ? Do you have similar problem before upgrade to B.yond?
If not, could it be faulty decoder ? Does anyone here also encountered this?

Really want to know what causes and remedy action .....

But I thought you already have a cooler master underneath the decoder? Is it still over-heat problem ? unsure.gif
So it means hot weather also cause such problem on B'yond .... it sounds worry man ......

May be you should call Astro if possible exchange another 1 and try first ?! icon_question.gif

from your youtube you are using old decoder

what is the signal quality? are you sharing dish via splitter?

looks like cable problem, change the RG-6 cable and/or re-terminate F-connectors, make sure f-connectors are screw tight on the lnb and the decoder
