QUOTE(shirroe @ Mar 25 2010, 11:41 AM) Seriously, i'll rather not have IPTV (dunno what crap channels) and have pure broadband instead. All these 'Value Added Services' are basically no value. Just excuses to charge more. |

QUOTE(smatdesa @ Mar 25 2010, 11:37 AM) DOn't know why people always compare to singapore. If you want to compare to singapore, let our broadband provider focus solely on Klang Valley ONLY. And yes, if they can focus only on that distrcit/area and disregards the other parts of Malaysia, then yes, we can be competitive to Singapore within a year. elaborate more what you mean by focus solely on one area only ( e.g. like klang valley for hsbb right now ) ? how will that reduce prices to be competitive and on par with international standards, when the fact of the matter is there is only 1 viable isp in malaysia ;_; with little to no reason for lowering their pricing.more competitors = lower price no competitor = monopoly This post has been edited by Moogle Stiltzkin: Mar 25 2010, 11:49 AM |

QUOTE(Matrix @ Mar 25 2010, 11:35 AM) Hmm...i forgot to tell you...I WORKED IN THE HIGHWAY INDUSTRY PREVIOUSLY. Just want to let you know, country like Sweden has an industry for highway ETC..in fact, which some Malaysia highway use previously......but there are NO TOLLS IN SWEDEN. Ironic ain't it? well, i believe u're still the laughing stock. And Denmark, there was only 1 toll in the MAJOR HIGHWAY. Toll on major highway is acceptable...like North South highway....but Tolls in City centre in which people commute daily to their work is UNACCEPTABLE. No please don't show your ignorance anymore and go away. Look who is the laughing stock now. 1st of all, did i even mentioned that other countries charges their toll like we do? 2nd, u're just complaining on what u can't get here as if we care. 3rd, u still think that TM == Gomen and finally, ranting about tolls and shits here in HSBB thread. there you go. |

QUOTE(khd229 @ Mar 25 2010, 11:42 AM) It seems for SME, the package is better, but I doubt residential can apply for it. RM 200 for 5MBps package and with no limit. betul ke ni, 2GB a day? Also, for all unify package, do noted that the maximum download allowed will be spread evenly for every day in the month. So fo 60GB, means you can only use 2GB per day. However, no mentioning what happen after that. then how to download new DVD ISO for say linux distro as an eg... |

QUOTE(shirroe @ Mar 25 2010, 11:41 AM) we know we know we know. it also includes free land line to land line calls. how many non business people usess land line nowadays? Unless TM is giving away life time free wifi land line phone so that it can be used just like a mobile phone in the house, that wont change. anyhow IPTV service also no update. No actual channel listing. people scrambled to gather info from news reports for channel listing ... wtf? Otak bisnes ke ni? nanti the PERKASA guy blame Ananda for monopoly when it was the UMNO led gomen that gave Ananda exclusive satelite to home TV service for several decades!! and bisnes minds like TM's IPTV marketing team!! |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Mar 25 2010, 11:39 AM) it's called Jalenas. Actually i think the pm approved the building of it for the Kuantan area only so far. Hint: because them ministers are most certainly TM shareholders.HSBB was a closed tender bid offered to tmnut. It was never offered to anyone else in an open bid. So how are we to blame other isps or lack off, when the MAIN CAUSE is because of our government not allowing any to compete with tmnut ??? I'll pass this for now. If there's a cheaper package (say, RM149 for 10Mbit/s without IPTV) then I'd jump in. The IPTV offerings don't interest me. This post has been edited by yimingwuzere: Mar 25 2010, 11:50 AM |

QUOTE(SHOfrE3zE @ Mar 25 2010, 11:36 AM) what connection? 1mb/s? why do u even bother telling here when u can just report it? did i made my reports?btw, this is HSBB and u're talking streamyx. u don't pay streamyx with premium price. past experience tells me that even i made a call to the help line and brutally assault the receptionist with foul words and bombarded complains to MCMC, the end result would a technician coming to my house be either: 1. windoze - oh, ur line is gud, 70% yo!!! 2. windoze - aiyah!!! wireless router... no wonder... u should move ur pc up here and connect directly... 3. slackware (notebook, direct connected to modem) - why no use window, no wonder bad laaa... then case closed... my issue solved? no... QUOTE(TM.net @ Mar 25 2010, 11:36 AM) maybe Warhammer players should do the same...maybe rapplez players should do the same... maybe Aion servers should do the same... or maybe they just simply put a local server here nothing is wrong at TMNut... QUOTE(g5sim @ Mar 25 2010, 11:36 AM) not true, the Pahang whats the name actually proposed a plan to install HSBB with no help from gomen but gomen rejected that proposal and decided to spend billions of rakyats money to assist TM on this project. tbh, the private company actually had lower cost, if i remembered correctly...This HSBB project was supposed to allow others to offer services via the fiber optic. Digi or Maxis for example can offer internet services via the HSBB project. cronism at it's finest moments, i'd say |
