Seriously, i'll rather not have IPTV (dunno what crap channels) and have pure broadband instead. All these 'Value Added Services' are basically no value. Just excuses to charge more.

That VAS for now is bluehyppo channel from streamyx....but the real IPTV like live football is pay per view..need to subscribe and pay again

elaborate more what you mean by focus solely on one area only ( e.g. like klang valley for hsbb right now ) ? how will that reduce prices to be competitive and on par with international standards, when the fact of the matter is there is only 1 viable isp in malaysia ;_; with little to no reason for lowering their pricing.

more competitors = lower price

no competitor = monopoly

Paying RM160 for 4Mbps
Paying RM200 for 5Mbps unlimited.

we know we know we know. it also includes free land line to land line calls. how many non business people usess land line nowadays? Unless TM is giving away life time free wifi land line phone so that it can be used just like a mobile phone in the house, that wont change.

anyhow IPTV service also no update. No actual channel listing. people scrambled to gather info from news reports for channel listing ... wtf? Otak bisnes ke ni? nanti the PERKASA guy blame Ananda for monopoly when it was the UMNO led gomen that gave Ananda exclusive satelite to home TV service for several decades!! and bisnes minds like TM's IPTV marketing team!!

Hint: because them ministers are most certainly TM shareholders.

I'll pass this for now. If there's a cheaper package (say, RM149 for 10Mbit/s without IPTV) then I'd jump in. The IPTV offerings don't interest me.

past experience tells me that even i made a call to the help line and brutally assault the receptionist with foul words and bombarded complains to MCMC, the end result would a technician coming to my house be either:

1. windoze - oh, ur line is gud, 70% yo!!!
2. windoze - aiyah!!! wireless router... no wonder... u should move ur pc up here and connect directly...
3. slackware (notebook, direct connected to modem) - why no use window, no wonder bad laaa...

then case closed...

my issue solved? no...
