No problems, 3D is not a must have for now. I get dizziness and motion sickness when playing FPS games in 3D (COD BO was the worst) rclxub.gif ...Its not really recommended for fps. But maybe UC3 would work great with it.

Hi bro, i just bought that model from SengHeng RM3999 with free 1 3D glass and 1 Sony 3D Blu Ray player.

Viewing pleasure, i would say its good worth the money for that price. Yes playing Socom4 in 3D just AWESOME!

been using Samsung 3d plasma tv for a month plus now...
mine is the 43inch, 490 series... pretty happy with it.

playing killzone 3 in 3d is hella awesome, (gt5 in 3d, nothing to shout about) ,
watching 3d movies are great too.
even though its not full HD (1080p) , you can still view 1080p content, be it movies  or games,
(it is downscaled, if you wanna go technical)
but, its little to no difference at all, when compared to other full hdtv with the same size side by side at the store.
unless of course you are buying a 60+ inch tv maybe then you'll see the difference....
its pretty cheap, around 1.8k - 2.4k, with 3d, its a steal...  I'd say, go for it !
(most ps3 games and all ps3 3d games comes in 720p anyway)
.

This I totally agree with you... I'm using PS51D490..no regret so far...

This also I agree.. 3d is not a must have now..
but once you play killzone 3, motorstorm apocalypse and socom4.. punya best.. but so far this is the only nice game la

Yes.. this is normal.. no need to worries...
when u press the info button on ur tv remote, what it shows u is the source input to your tv...
So.. for ps3, it will higlighted 1280X720 @ 60Hz or 1920X1080 @60Hz...
If u have Astro Byond, it will likely shows 1920X1080i @50Hz...

Oh yeah... i'm assuming u r using PS3 as ur blu ray player.. if u dont want ur blu ray output to be at 24Hz (which is 24fps) just go to video setting, n turn off the 24Hz content...

Thanks buddy, ya now i off the 24Hz content and my Blu ray movie show 60Hz
i did some research on internet. saying that if we use 60Hz, mean our movie is running at 3:2 pullback since the record FPS ( Frame per second ) is standard 24FPS, unless like USA region player and LCD, which the run at 60Hz or 120Hz . so 24FPS x 3 = 3:2 to match 60Hz and 24Hz x 5 = 120Hz .

our LCD only 50Hz, 100Hz and 200Hz ,
can we set out LCD to like 24Hz, 48Hz, 72 Hz and 94Hz to match the 24FPS ?

or is the player matters ?

So far i know only US Blu ray player can produce that FPS

Correct me if i m wrong

Thanks to all Si Fu's here

As far as I know, no blu ray player can produce that FPS... because if ur TV doesnt support the refresh rate,, it will be useless... so, it should be the TV..

Anyway.. i'm assuming u hav an extremely sensitive eyes... so the 3:2 pulldown is an issues...
This work on some TV which have cinema smooth function.. but for this function to work ur input source to the TV must be at 24Hz (or 24fps).. and from the picture menu (for samsung TV) go to film mode and set it to cinema smooth,, this will give u a pulldown of 4:4 equivalent to 96Hz...
For info, not all TV has this function.. so.... if u hav... u hav it

If you are using as a monitor as long as its full hd then its ok. But do you need such a big screen for monitor? Nowadays HDTV price are getting competitive so no worries. LG or toshiba they are still good HDTVs.

excuse me guys, if u could help tell me if Samsung LCD TV LA26D400 is compatible with ps3?? will the ps3 works on it? in the website, it never stated that the TV support HDCP but it does support HD 768p and have 1 slot for HDMI. The refresh rate is unknown but they said its clear motion rate is 50. They never stated the response time too.

If you could help me, please... thanks in advance bros..

btw, here is the link for the model.

http://www.samsung.com/id/consumer/tv-audi...b=specification

edit : after ive done some research, i know already that all LCD TV is HDCP. If its PC monitor then its going to be a different story. Just one more question is about its performance during ps3 gameplay. will there any ghosting or blur motion? if not, i might just get it ASAP! wuhu..

Too bad that I am physically can't enjoy 3D. My eyes are unable to see 3D. *sobs*

BTW, I'm thinking of getting alternative LCD Monitor/TV for PS3 as alternatie for my 42". Feels 42" is too big for gaming. Was thinking getting 23" LG monitors. Or should I get 32" instead?

hey guys!

i'm currently looking at either the Sony 40EX720 or the Samsung 40D6400. Both are 3D LED Full HD tvs, and I cant seem to decide between the two. Other than Kakigamer with this 40EX720, has anyone used the Samsung D6400 series?

I hope to hear from user experiences! Thanks!

Hi guys, I recently got a PS3 system and I am now using it on my LCD monitor sharing with my PC. Can anyone recommend me a switch so that I don't need to always switch the hdmi-dvi cable and my audio cable?

Is there a switch that can accomodate both hdmi-dvi cable and both audio cables?

Appreciate the help. Thanks.
