I just bought my new PS3. I have sharp TV (model: LC37A66M) with full HD support bought last year only. I got a PS3 and hooked it up to my Sharp 37 inch LCD tv using an HDMI cable. I have blinking or blank screen issues and can return to normal and play a while blicking happen again and sometimes the screen go blank and up again. I try the same HDMI cable to my xbox, no problem. So it is not HDMI cable issue I think. And I don't think it PS3 problem either since the shop has demo to me before selling the unit to me. The strange thing is my TV and xbox don't have this issues. So is PS3 or Sharp TV issue??

mine is the 43inch, 490 series... pretty happy with it.

playing killzone 3 in 3d is hella awesome, (gt5 in 3d, nothing to shout about) , 
watching 3d movies are great too.
even though its not full HD (1080p) , you can still view 1080p content, be it movies  or games,
(it is downscaled, if you wanna go technical)
but, its little to no difference at all, when compared to other full hdtv with the same size side by side at the store.
unless of course you are buying a 60+ inch tv maybe then you'll see the difference....
its pretty cheap, around 1.8k - 2.4k, with 3d, its a steal...  I'd say, go for it !
(most ps3 games and all ps3 3d games comes in 720p anyway)

No problems, 3D is not a must have for now. I get dizziness and motion sickness when playing FPS games in 3D (COD BO was the worst)  ...Its not really recommended for fps. But maybe UC3 would work great with it.

wanna ask advise bout Samsung LED LCD
its a 100Hz LCD but i only get 60HZ when playing PS3 games and 24HZ when watching Blu Ray,

Thanks buddy, ya now i off the 24Hz content and my Blu ray movie show 60Hz
i did some research on internet. saying that if we use 60Hz, mean our movie is running at 3:2 pullback since the record FPS ( Frame per second ) is standard 24FPS, unless like USA region player and LCD, which the run at 60Hz or 120Hz . so 24FPS x 3 = 3:2 to match 60Hz and 24Hz x 5 = 120Hz .

our LCD only 50Hz, 100Hz and 200Hz ,
can we set out LCD to like 24Hz, 48Hz, 72 Hz and 94Hz to match the 24FPS ?

or is the player matters ?

So far i know only US Blu ray player can produce that FPS
