I'm not sure if this is the issue, just to share my experience on the HDMI for PS4.
i did buy a HDMI cable and trying to connect it to hub, from the hub it connect to my TV / monitor.

PS4 > HDMI > HUB > HDMI > TV/Monitor.

i find that 1 things very weird, when i using it for my PS3, it's working fine.
but when i using it for PS4, with hub and 2 HDMI cable. it appear that the hub / cable doesn't carry enough power to transmit the display to monitor / TV.
in the end i need to buy a stronger hub to amplify the signal.

try to get a cable that is HDMI output, DVI input....single cable to connect your PS4 to your monitor.
if you connect 2 cables together (2 different cables, it might not have enough power to transmit the signal).

do you have other TV / monitor to test out your current setting??

currently don't have another monitor, it seems like I am having the same issue as you had, going to ask some friend to bring his monitor to test it out

I have one cable that is directly connected to monitor
it shows black screen than the monitor keeps restarting itself, can't understand why it does that

Hey guys, looking to buy a 40 inch TV ~ under the budget of RM 1.6K ~ need some recommendations of TVs that would be the best for this budget. Hopefully TV that I can still find at stores at the current moment. I will also be hooking up the TV to my desktop.

Good day to all the gamer, thumbup.gif

Recently my PS3 Super Slim got no display issue at my LED TV (Panasonic). Before this everything working fine. So i decide to try the below solution;

1. Change the HDMI cable and also HDMI port location (Still no display)
2. Check the TV display setting (Still no display)
3. Bring the console to game shop near my area (Working fine with their LED TV or Monitor) for info I'm also bringing my current HDMI cable
4. So the shop change my PS3 display setting from HDMI to VGA (Working fine at my TV)

So the game shop conclude that my PS3 still working fine base on their checking.

What i need to do if wanna use or change back the display setting from VGA to HDMI at my TV. Im try to set up the display from VGA to HDMI at home TV but not working. The display keep going back to the previous display setting

I heard from some sources that need to change the resolution at my PS3 from 1080p to 1080i (But dunno is it true or not). Some more how to change because currently my setting on VGA display cant set the HD setting.

My location area in Klang or Shah Alam. I will give some small token for those who can solve my problem.
Please any Otai gamer help me... any help will appreciated. Thank you. icon_question.gif

P/S: Currently i don't have budget yet to purchase PS4 so don't ask me to buy it sad.gif
