if my n97 dropped into toilet bowl..what to do now? i'm not ON the phone yet..can anyone suggest what to do now? my set is avaxx set but over warranty d..help plssssssss

take out the battery. Then do your best to blow every part. No need to open. If lucky then your phone not dead. If unlucky...I don't think NCC provides warranty for you dropping it into toilet bowl

best is dun on it for 3 days... dry it kow kow .. then leave it for a few days to make sure comletely dry... take out the batt.
coz my fren's laptop dropped into a puddle of water. i helped him open up the whole laptop and dried it with hair dryer and left it open for 3 days. after on back .. function as normal smile.gif

yeap.. happen to me few times (motorcyclist on raining day,what to expect).
i take off my batt, let it dry in front of fan for the whole night, then switch it on on the next morning, voilla~~!

hey guys,
I'm using garminxt on my n97mini. whenver i tutup the slider the screen is one page (full screen navigation).but whenever i open up the slider, i'll give me a sub-screen. main navigation screen then side another smaller screen too... can turn that off ?

the smaller screen is titled detail map right? I have it on my X6 all the time. Can't seem to turn it off doh.gif

yes that's the screen .. very confusing .. i also can't find the way to turn it off ... when u close the slider it's normal.. only when the slider is open

mmm... tat's weird.. coz mine only happens on slider-open mode. Previously i was using the same garminxt on my 5800xm. no problem watsoever and no extra screen... rclxub.gif

sound plus visual lah ... coz i put the thing on a flat surface... so when i slide up .. it'll tilt the display for me to c coz as usual some roads in m'sia u just can' trust the navigation voice alone. must also double confirm with visual smile.gif

most holders are quite ugly n clutter up the dash lah... but nvm lah if no solution for it.. just gotta tahan onli loh ..hhaa
