Anyone interested in XFX graphics card? Vertex Distribution carries em to M'sia and those who wanted SLI 7800GTX with this board, good news! Damn I even got mine from oversea last month! Warranty 3 yrs.

according to OCZtony, the board layout is actually for crossfire...
and there is two version, 1 is using Nforce 4 chip together wif ATi chips..

hehehe....back to DFI i supposed....

btw way its looks rather same like the crossfire version which i can see is more neat layout and also now the heat transfer is all situated at the 120 mm fan...which is easier to sucked out....

the new DFI NF4 SLI-DR is adapting ATI Grouper board's power regulator design so they won't have the JP17 jumper to enable 4v anymore..

its upper part is exactly identical to the R482's as the memory controller is no longer resizing in the northbridge..so it's okay to do that since both board will use the same memory controller (the one in the CPU) they have to re-locate the memory slots as everything has been pushed up (due to the 3rd PCI slot).
added an extra PCI slot as lotz of customers were asking for it..
also, now you get extra space between the first and second PCIe 16x slot. it was the users request. DFI...their engineers do listen to the users' needs...

as for R482..with an immature bios (not even an alpha version), the board did 2-2-2-6 just fine :thumb:

bootable,
still getting memtest proven...
will try on memtest #5 for 100 loops, then 3~4days full test
after that a 3 days priming...

and because i'm using 4 stick of ram, so, is hard to get a good result for oc...
priming fail 6 minutes after @ 215Mhz

That timing is not a big deal for this board and a good RAM. Ray99mond did that a few months ago and he overclock it to 250 with mushkin HP3200.
