QUOTE(rzonealley @ Jul 29 2005, 12:33 PM) just grab those sli-dr. worth the investment if u planning uv n stability, summore if u get bored in the future u can OC, but incase u just want play with stablility and 6sata full applicable keep ur asus. got other accesories u can place on ur mobo to make it UV reactive but honestly its not goodlooking as dfi mobo. grab the mobo from antonio la, good mobo he's giving u. woot--- antonio tired OC??? hehe playing with dfi nf3 + venice 3000+ owned by a fren. hehehhe..hi mr rzone...i'm not into o/c untill next year...Selling off all my stuffs...get the money...buy a motocycle to go to work...driving cannot stand lar...tol and petrol money eats up 60% of salary...how to go to work litdat...summore cannot buy stuff for OC.... the DFI is good if you know how to use it...even until now i';m not good at it...members like babyelf,winc87,arj n many more to list down are good at tweaking the board to reach the full potetial....like me i'm lazy so O/C results wont get high...summore need hardware lar kawan....3000+ no story nowadays...dual core maa now....

Have you guys noticed how high the northbridge temp gets? the one reported by nV Monitor as "system". My rig has it about the same or a few degrees higher than the CPU temp. With much cable management and the addition of another inflow fan, I've got this down to 46C at idle but the high 50C on extended gaming sessions. I'm assuming this is common to NF4 chipsets...

Yes a Vantec Iceberq 4 would definately fit (needs to be low profile due to proximity of the PCI-e slots) and the copper will do a better job. I have one cooling a Radeon 9800 Pro in my son's Shuttle. The original MSI heatsink fan went bust and the Iceberq performs well. However.... I kinda like the mirror/silver finish of the DFI NB cooler. Think I'll keep this underperformer cos she just looks so damn good! Yes, basicly I'm really very superficial...

You can remove that shiny thing and place it on the iceberg. It is detachable but you will have to remove the springs in order to do that.
