Do u have any SS of ur temp readings? Its kinda hard for us to help with inadequate details & data sweat.gif
BTW if u mean the temp from tmpin02 in hardware monitor then i believe its normal for a gigabyte mobo users, all of us with gigabyte mobo have the same thing where it detect the temp at high 79~80c..
We believe its a temp sensor error sweat.gif

how ur mobo temp, coz i looking at giga users..This is my temp

Wooooooot MSI coming out with more cheapo AM3 mobo's: thumbup.gif thumbup.gif

QUOTE
MSI Unveils 870A-G54 Value AM3 Motherboard
MSI unveiled the 870A-G54, a value socket AM3 motherboard based on the AMD 870 + SB850 chipset. The 870 is AMD's value discrete graphics chipset, which supports one graphics card over a PCI-Express 2.0 x16 link, or two cards over two electrical x8 links, as implemented on this board. The CPU is powered by a 5+1 phase VRM which uses high-C capacitors. Expansion slots include two PCI-Express 2.0 x16 (electrical x8 when both are populated), supporting ATI CrossfireX; three PCI and one PCI-E x1. The SB850 southbridge gives out six internal SATA 6 Gb/s ports, an additional controller drives the IDE. Connectivity includes 8-channel audio with optical SPDIF, two USB 3.0 ports, a number of USB 2.0 ports, and gigabit Ethernet. The MSI 870A-G54 will be released in the coming weeks. This is the second board from the company based on this chipset, the other being the Lucid Hydra-equipped 870A-GD60 Hydra.

bro, if u notice, there are only 2 mosfets per phase... not a gud thing if one were to stress it to d max... just like d 770-g45. no doubt it has nice layout & features... hmmm... should be a nice value board if d price is nice, not for hardcore clocker imo... smile.gif

Have u guys seen the Phenom II X6 review?

As i expected,it is very recomended for New user or old user want to upgrade. Not recomended for Intel users since the performance is on par or better than it.

I can conclude that.

Phenom II X6 1055T is as fast as Core i7 920(not clock-clock of course) or about 5% slower than it.(stock vs stock)
Most overclocks stable at 4Ghz.
I recomend u guys see this review, other review i saw quite biased..

also i heard the new chipset can handle ram pretty well...
cant remember where i saw.. 800series + deneb can do better in ram clocking...

i wonder how far the thuban nb freq can go..
650 for a 1055t is irresistible...
