QUOTE(digswell @ Apr 23 2010, 12:20 PM) see like time for me to start upgrading my rig.......blur blur now what am i wan to start getting 1st X6 ofcourse..Added on April 23, 2010, 2:20 pm QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Apr 23 2010, 12:15 PM) asus matx 785 evo did pretty impressive, but i'll take dfi anytime... asus m4a785d-m pro not good ar? coz i experienced enough with asus ram issue..best if can get those w/ 8 pins 12 eps (like gaygay & dfi) bro, those w/ 4 pins most likely will suffer from voltage fluctuation... cannot check by row eh? enable the first 3 cores or something..
Added on April 23, 2010, 5:00 pmhaha this explain better.. http://www.biostar.com.tw/app/en/event/bio...ng/features.htm QUOTE During the post screen, you are able to unlock the 4th core by pressing “F4” or unlock the 3rd core by pressing “F3”. “BIO-unlocKING” will automatically enable your ACC function and unlock the extra core for user in BIOS setting. Once see the logo of “CPU Level up”, you are successful to unlock those extra core(s) depending which hot key you click. In addition, you can also active specific core separately. We provided this friendly feature in BIOS setup where you could choose how many core(s) and appoint specific cores (core0 ~ core3). Users can even turn off some surplus core(s) for power saving purpose. the bold part ah_khoo no need to pening.. just test the core kaw².. This post has been edited by 8tvt: Apr 23 2010, 05:03 PM |

temp
i just amend the vcore to the default. It shows 1.35V at bios..but, in the windows, it shows 1.328V, how come? then, which temp should i look at? for everest, overdrive and cpuid hardware monitor, all the core temp is 42. But, in everest cpu temp, easytune6 and bios cpu temp, the temp is 29. so, basically which one we need to check when oc? |

the voltage part is called vdrop
the temp part is like this,42'c is the temp of each core while the 29'c refer to the temp of the surface of the proc that make contact with the heatsink the ihs |

Do u have any SS of ur temp readings? Its kinda hard for us to help with inadequate details & data BTW if u mean the temp from tmpin02 in hardware monitor then i believe its normal for a gigabyte mobo users, all of us with gigabyte mobo have the same thing where it detect the temp at high 79~80c.. We believe its a temp sensor error |
