QUOTE(cloudwan @ Apr 23 2010, 10:19 AM) At 1.4v u can go 3.6ghz already, mine if set 1.424v can get stable at 3.8ghz Yup seems to me gigabyte mobo like to a bit overvolt & overclock the HT a bit even on stock speed, thats why need to tweak abit to get the best out of it.. thankx for solve my doubts. i plan 24/7..urs 3.8ghz can make it?

QUOTE(ah_khoo @ Apr 23 2010, 11:22 AM) if coupled with good board, c3 is capable of runnin 3.8GHz w/ < 1.4v... THIS is my humble attempt @ 3.75GHz... not bad..how check ur temp? is it refer to tmpIn0, tmpiN1, and tmpin2 in hardware monitor? if i oc to 3.6ghz and above, should i oc my ram as well or just leave it auto? coz im still blur on why oc relate to ram..

QUOTE(cloudwan @ Apr 23 2010, 11:50 AM) When playing oc with a BE cpu for the 1st time try playing with only the cpu multiplier & cpu volt.. If ur not unlocking u can just check the core temp from hardware monitor.. Usually we use tmpin0~2 if we are playing with unlocked cpu's My setting at 3.8ghz » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Uploaded with ImageShack.usMy setting at 3.6ghz » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Uploaded with ImageShack.usthankx,..btw, inside the cpuID hardware monitor, look at tmpin0~2 if playing unlock cpu right? then how about the core #0~4 ? i confuse about these two temperature. both temp is different..

tempi just amend the vcore to the default. It shows 1.35V at bios..but, in the windows, it shows 1.328V, how come? then, which temp should i look at? for everest, overdrive and cpuid hardware monitor, all the core temp is 42. But, in everest cpu temp, easytune6 and bios cpu temp, the temp is 29. so, basically which one we need to check when oc?

QUOTE(cloudwan @ Apr 24 2010, 08:46 AM) Do u have any SS of ur temp readings? Its kinda hard for us to help with inadequate details & data BTW if u mean the temp from tmpin02 in hardware monitor then i believe its normal for a gigabyte mobo users, all of us with gigabyte mobo have the same thing where it detect the temp at high 79~80c.. We believe its a temp sensor error how ur mobo temp, coz i looking at giga users.. This is my temp
