Yeah C3 but so lame la max clock can only reach 38++GHz only with volt around 1.425V to 1.45V. After reading this thread i think i blame my board.

some changes i saw with C3 is the nb speed can get much higher..
2.7g for me at 1.3v

first for all is about ur budget..
so to sacrifice performance loss abit not a major issue..

i would think that recent amd proc will optimize on 1333mhz ram..
if ur ram able to push to >1000mhz with good timing then should be ok..

if u switch the board and ddr3 with current proc.. i think no much different..
just can play with oc and maybe reduce the voltage depends on ur skills..

emm x6 is not available anywhere...

I can unlock and rock solid stable at 3600GHz at 1.3V but in order to get to 3800GHz i need 1.425-1.45V to make it stable.

why all of sudden bashin gigabyte? imo, every brand got their shortcomings... for me gigabyte always offer one of d best build quality, solid bios (award), & above average ocbility. asus premium boards are always something for d lust, but price wise always outta reach, software/bios support are top notch thou. biostar offer decent build quality + one of d best (detailed) bios for oc (could be better if they use award instead of ami) while msi boards are quite benchable, even those of value line.

premium or value, i dun trust d stock coolin unless i've tested 'em myself. for me, manufacturers can do better w/ d coolin especially chipset, sucky thermal paste + squarish protective sponge are always d culprit why users are gettin high load temp. a 'lil efforts in cleanin d stock paste + actively cool stock cooler (or replace it w/ a 3rd party one which not necessarily expensive) will do d job well enuf.

i believe most of us here buy our board becoz we gone thru reviews in xs or other reputable forums. so if we're not gettin d desired result, is that rite that we can simply point fingers to d board? if other can achieve great things w/ same piece of board, isn't it d problem lies within ourselves?

I choose gigabyte because of its features including from reviews i rad.

U disable in bios ka? See anything with C1E*can't remember* and disable it also? Have u select performance profile in windows?
