Erm. Still new to AMD overclocking. Wanna know what's the safe temperature for the processor?

I believe 55c is quite safe with stock cooler. The TMPIN0 i think is NorthBridge. Can cook egg already at 63c.

Oh yea, btw, the funny thing is AOD, HWmonitor, Everest, Overclocking Centre, etc... All programs giving me different temperature.. I don't know which to trust.. doh.gif

i dont think so..that must be "auto"..or ur mobo have a issue that large vcore fluctuation... the stock vcore i think must be 1.35v or below..
tried unlock?
*
Stock vcore is 1.375 if not mistaken ...
Tried unlock but no luck .. Set all core to 0% only can boot but with 2 cores only.. -2%,+2%,-4%,+4%,-8% & +8% cannot start.. Other settings haven't try..

Currently stable at 3757MHz only.. touching 60c..
Need a better cooler to go further.. sweat.gif

my stock core is 1.35v.....better change to after market cooler... brows.gif

Ic... Don't know why mine is 1.375v ...

I don't feel like changing to aftermarket cooler for AMD because can't do much .. Say maybe 4Ghz max only..
If intel different la.. Put in better cooler.. From 3Ghz can go to 4.3Ghz~4.5Ghz .. sweat.gif

I set 1.376v at the BIOS to prevent AUTO setting but in windows when stressing.. The vcore already increase to 1.400~1.408 .. WTH wif this mobo? doh.gif

Now set 1.360 in BIOS.. I get 1.384~1.392 .. doh.gif doh.gif doh.gif

better cooler can reduce temp, some can push even further..
most important it's stable..
*
Yea I do understand that.. Longer lifespan also..

Later I will try to find the lowest vcore so the max load temp will be around 55c ...

Anyway, do you guys have trouble like overvolting? My MSI 770 C45 at 0.026~0.032?

tat overvolting is normal for AMD
example
setting in bios 1.35 ..in windows on idle is around 1.35 +-0.01/2
when load should been a lit more maybe -+ 0.02/-+0.025

Not much people use this cheapo motherboard. MSI 770 C45. Guess I must change mobo already la. The northbridge normal run also can cook egg already.

What ASUS mobo is cheap and good ah?

can be also since i have read the blue screen errors are cause by ram related problems. i'm using kington ddr3 value ram 1066 i think. cant remember the exact spec.
*
I got blue screen also with those countdown to shutdown .. I thought it is RAM related but increasing vcore solve the problem ..
