Hi guys,its been a while since i sold my X2 3800 F3 gem.
So, i have quit overclocking since 2 years ago. Now i thought of playing it back. But kind of noob since so many new things came up. I want to ask, what is the different between : 1- Athlon II & Phenom II? 2- Does both of them are able to be unlocked? 3- Lastly, which one is better for me to buy,is it the Athlon II X2 or Phenom II X2 to be unlocked. Cheers guys. |

U won't be able to go higher with the regor/propus etc core.. undoubtedly deneb offers better mileage, regor would be d 2nd favorite while propus bein d least. but for someone who likes challenges, propus could really gives more fun. no 960t to unlock, sigh... it's gonna be a long wait for x6 to drop price or someone sell it @ 555be price... |

AMD Phenom II X4 960T not cancelled Should be available, eventually According to our info, AMD's Thuban based Phenom II X4 960T is not canceled but rather just delayed. Unfortunately, our sources were not clear about the specific date but were pretty sure that it will come eventually. As you may remember, Legitreviews.com reported yesterday that the "unlocking-friendly" Phenom II X4 960T will be limited to OEMs and probably paired up with a non-unlockable motherboard. Our sources suggested that it is a mere delay and that the noted CPU will indeed be available. We are not sure if AMD will change something and make it less "unlockable" in that process, or when it will actually be available, but for now, we are hearing that it will be available in retail, sooner or later. After unlocking, you only able to monitor CPU temp not Core temp.

Just refer to the tmpin0, tmpin1 & tmpin2.. To know which one is which just do a little experiment by running ur cpu at its normal setting (cores not unlock) and see which temp reading is similar to the cpu temp reading |
