For those that don't already have Voice Search 2.1, you're gonna need it to get the Speech-to-text feature of this keyboard to work.

Steps for installing HTC IME Mod Keyboard.
1) Download the .apk file of Voice Search 2.1.
2) Transfer to sd card and install using Astro or any other file manager.
3) Download the .apk file of the HTC IME ModKeyboard. (For Legend users, download Low Resolution version)
4) Transfer to sd card and install using Astro or any other file manager.
5) Go to settings --> Language and Keyboard --> 'tick' the box next to HTC_IME mod.
6) Go to any app where you can type or use my example: Press Search button(magnifying glass hardware button), and touch and hold the 'Quick Search Box' until a popup appears. Select 'input method'.
7) Select HTC_IME mod.
8) Enjoy.

Do tweak the settings a little bit to your liking =)

for me, I just downloaded the .apk straight using legend.
after that, straight install.
My keyboard is also voice-to-text.

I been using Voice Search on youtube clips just now driving back home.

btw, anyone find the incoming call rather soft (both speaker and non-speaker mode)? i've already maxed out the volume but it's still not that loud...

I haven't try GPS yet. Dunno if it comes preinstalled or not. How about you guys?

You managed to get it so fast? I made booking on 4th-May-10, but until today still dunno when can get it.... When you buy it, still got many stock?

I was browsing Maxis' website on 31-April then I saw the Android phone deals. Immediately zoomed to Sunway Pyramid after work to get one but only realised it's launching the next day. Next morning quickly went back .
The guy told me there were only 2 units at that time. Not sure bout now.
