Yes, I'm waiting for a higher capacity battery. But the 1300mAH battery we're having is actually quite sufficient for many phones. Guess the phone is really power-hungry.

my X1 is using 1500mAH battery still not enuff:P

-and for the time being i never experience any lagg from the phone..just minor slowing sometimes..i always task kill every now and then

To to share my, i use my Legend to read my company exchange mail. if you receive mail from exchange it will enforce you to set password for screen unlock.
Today i change password and forget what is password. after 11th time key in wrong password. it will erase data. luckily it some sort like factory reset and phone is still usable. phew... scare the hell out of me. tongue.gif

Hello Legend users. My housemate just brought home his HTC desire last nite. Quite torn between as they both have + and -
Thought that the 1GHz snapdragon would do the interface much justice but I noticed that the Desire lagged in a few instances. Haven't tried the Legend yet but how does it fare so far under normal usage?
oh and is it possible to put live wallpapers on the Legend?
*
I don't know about the rest, but I am sure I would not be pleased with the Desire's battery life.

As it is, I just about get through a day with the Legend on a single charge, something that I am unlikely to be able to do with a Desire given its more powerful processor and bigger screen.

But that's just me.

I think most Legend buyers go through the same agony--Legend or Desire. So you gotta ask yourself what you can live with and what you can live without.

Personally, having tested the Desire after the fact, I don't regret getting the Legend at all.

p.s. I was initially very reluctant to try the Desire for fear of immediately putting my Legend up for sale in Garage but I'm glad I did in the end wink.gif

Hmmm..... yea quite a number of ppl reporting about poor battery life. And to think that the AMOLED display and lesser processor would conserve battery life a little better seems to be a disappointment. Was really thrilled when I heard about the launch of the Legend and Desire and by looking at the specs sheet both units would prove to be a tech powerhouse. Unfortunately its the minor things which become the deciding factor like fluidity of the interface and battery life. So it was either android (i.e Legend/Desire) or see how the upcoming Nokia N8 fares once it gets released in a couple of months time.

Guess I'll need to get a bit more hand's on time with the Desire to really make a judgement rolleyes.gif

Ah cheers! The live wallpapers look awesome! But I guess everyone would grow out of it after a week or 2. Saves battery anyway whistling.gif

Not all can be play. Even with skyfire installed there are still a lots of the FB games not playable.

Mafia war is ok.
Cafe world is no, Farmville is no (I then deduce that almost all zynga release is no)
hotel city is no, restaurant city is no

hi..
i would like to know,
is it we can use HTC Legend as WiFi router,
so i can connect to internet via my laptop without cable?

as i know,
if we tethering laptop via mobile phone,
the phone will get hot easily,
right?

if i plan to always use my mobile phone as modem,
which is better to use?
by wifi or cable tethering?

i hope to get this information before i decide to get HTC Legend,
thank you. smile.gif

Hi, for my information. Android market is not available in Malaysia. The only way to get paid apps it by rooting the phone. HTC Legend is HVGA, so will it limit the apps that is available to it? The ROM is also bout 512 MB, but how much is available to the user for installing apps? Is it enough? I heard Desire only have 150+ MB available to user for installing apps.

I was really confused whether to sign up Maxis or Digi in order to buy HTC Legend. I finally decided Maxis (even though Digi is more worthwhile) because Digi does not have 3G coverage in my area and Maxis signal is much more better.

Maxis informed that the phone is currently out of stock. They are also unable to advice when the stock will be available. unsure.gif Anyone out there facing the same issue? hmm.gif

saw the demo phone at one Digi outlet just now. The Legend looks compact and smaller than I thought. Nice phone. thumbup.gif
