yeah i missed the contacts app from Sense UI as well..
they can easily differentiate contacts from facebook...
now after restoring contacts all contacts mixed up in CM6...
or am I doing the wrong way?
*
restoring contacts using gmail sync seems to be the best way, i've been doing that with no problems so far. If you try to restore contacts using mybackup or titanium, AND have gmail contacts sync, then you'll have tons of duplicates to deal with. So just dump all your contacts to gmail =) of course you can backup your contacts, but don't restore them on your new install unless you really have problem with gmail sync. After a fresh install, it takes a whilefor it to re-sync to your phone's empty address book, but you'll be up and running in no time.

I'm finding the time to root and flash custom rom. But is there any guide available online for re-flashing back to stock ROM? And where to get the stock ROM?

It's in settings > accounts & syncsettings > google account
when you click on your google account, you should be able to select what you want it to sync with (contacts, gmail, calendar etc)

If you had it turned on before, if you go to gmail using your pc, you should be able to see all your phone contacts there as well.

Ahh, the beauty of google intergration

when you activate the sync account, you'll be able to select what data it syncs to/from the phone. If you dont want want your email to be synced into the phone, then just uncheck it. BTW, android gmail wont sync ALL your emails, just the latest 20 (or whatever the default is) from your inbox.

Yes... I am using this.
Very solid. But a bit bulky.
Will make your legend feel like a desire. LOL

I dropped my phone once on tar road, but minor scratches because of the case. super solid.

Highly recommended.

Im using it now, black color. Its good, but adds sum bulk to legend, noticibly thicker with alumor. Dont get the white one cos only the rubber portion is white and aluminum part is silver. The rubber is a bit sticky, so collect sum dust. Overall still very nice, look super sexy from the back. Got mine for rm75 from lyn member.

You can check out shipped-rom at here.
SiS phones from Singapore and Malaysia use the HTC_Asia_WWE official ROM from the above links

So, I formatted my sdcard to FAT32, created goldcard, put LEGEIMG.ZIP into the root directory and I get this when I tried to unroot.

CID incorrect!
Update Fail!

Any help?

However, let other otai ans first...
I also just rooted and flash to new rom last week..

Anyway using nightly B42, quite satisfied v it...
Almost every thing can be configurable compared to stock one...
Nice...

OK then how to confirm goldcard working or not? I successfully flashed CM Nightly, so I assume the goldcard is good.
