If you buy their story...

Sorry, I had waited long enough... will I downgrade to HTC SENSE bullshit and run at 600MHz again? Probably not...

HHmmmm. Soon but how soon???
I have rooted my phone and using 2.2 for a few weeks... and happy with it.
it takes that long to get to 2.2 how long will it take for 2.2.1??
If you wait for official update, do you think HTC legend will get official gingerbread update?

You gonna root it one day. just sooner or later. smile.gif

Ah. HTC still is keeping their poor software support standards. I'm still on course on my prediction Legend gets Froyo by end of December (nothing to be proud of).

Ya, i can't stand it that all the newer phones are getting 2.2, and the things that you can do with a rooted phone. I just HAD to root =p. Never regretted it since, hehe.

Now on CM6 nightly r46 =). For those thinking to root soon, DO IT NOW! but be careful, ive bricked my wife's htc magic 3 months ago, haha

Anything new on B46?

Im pretty satisfied with B4x so far because the battery drain has improved quite a lot. Speaking of which, would you switch back to HTC NON'SENSE? Unless they happen to release something dramatic which possibly wont happen at all IMO, I will stick to B45 for the moment.

i would switch back,

the only thing i dont like is the launcher, it is really slow
other sense app is pretty fine,
however, i might wait until someone manage to root it (or create a custom rom base on the legend sense 2.2)
cant live without the theming side of things..

LOL

What were you expecting? Miracle? HTC probably just started working on it after they are finally done with W7 and Desire HD/Z.

Nothing new that's noticable though, i'm just keeping it updated every few days if im not too busy.

I USED to miss the sense widgets, but since then i've found many other replacements. 1 thing i still cant replace is the contacts app. In senseui, the contacts can be linked to fb accounts rather seamlessly. Cant seem to do that in cm6/ cm6 nightly

or am I doing the wrong way?

I'm finding the time to root and flash custom rom. But is there any guide available online for re-flashing back to stock ROM? And where to get the stock ROM?
