okies, will try to set to dx9 tonight. Currently using 1920x1200 and custom setting, all high except no AA / AF option. can play without lag in sp and mp but now keep CTD when joining MP server

yeah, i experience 100% CTD when I tried to join MP server since yesterday evening. Yesterday morning still ok because I played from 6am - 3pm (not even 1 CTD). This morning still the same, crash when joining MP server.

Weird thing is some server I joined (just for testing but the ping >200ms), I dont have any CTD when joining(however got kicked out because PB init failure, will try to update PB tonight) , but when I joined to local servers(<100ms ping), its like 100% CTD.

4850 can play all high at that res? wat framerate u getting?
my friend's 4870 can barely play 1280x1024 at medium.

as for ctd, well which local servers? fragnetics?
its a long shot but i would try putting the settings all at medium first or even low just to test if theres no more ctd when joining.

heck.. even the stationary shielded machine gun bug also only in dx9

Well, guess dx9 having alot of weirdness also, i also saw wookies without fur in dx9.

ya, lowest was 26 ...avg around 40-50 during fighting in single player first mission, didnt test all since i completed the single player (now all reset because i completely uninstalled). 3x reinstall can't help. Still crash to desktop zzzzzzzzzzz. I could join other server eg at europe etc >200ms ping but 1 minute later got kicked out due to PB INIT Failure . Haiz, already downloaded the pbsec, and 2 other wc something files, placed into my bc2 pb and pb\htm folder , my appsdata pb folder and run pbsetup to check for updates(already updated both appdata pb folder and pb in game folder).

still CTD when join SALUZI server, frag currently full, MBT not tested. It's weird when I can join those server far away but those server <200ms ping Saluzi,frag etc all give me CTD Now try to test on dx9, speaker 2 , low settings


finally no longer CTD when I join SALUZI server and no freaking PB INIT failure. Need to check what I changed, currently on speaker setup 2 and dx9 . Most probably suspect is directx mode as changing to speaker 2 doesnt help until I change to dx9 (also restarted my comp)

yeah, just manage to try just now, just come back from work. thanks zen , hmmm oh well stay with dx9 awhile then before next patch is out.

Can't see the ping, tried setting to admin (win7 x64) but I get "this game is not available". Yes I tried restarting Steam.

Also, is there a way to manually add favorites? For some reason I can't add Fragnetics to mine, it takes forever.

Hi guys, i have a Black Screen problem here everytime a round is over. (GUI is there, but only the screen is black. I can run, sprint shoot but with black screen, as if i'm BLIND)

I have to restart my whole client to join the game again to fix this problem.
*Even rejoining the game or other servers won't fix the problem.

May i know what went wrong?

I believe he using Ati

do follow most of the things in 1st post then only try.
We all faced the problems before and still facing the problem sometime.
Do what necessary or wait for new driver, or new patch to got the game fixed.

i'm using ati too but seldom encounter such problem. but it does happen, especially during intense online battle.... any way stil ATI FTW

In single player no problem. But during multiplayer, happens all the time.
Lol.. ATI gives alot of problem. Update driver also that troublesome.

Anyway, how do you redeem the unlocks from Limited Edition huh? I click on Redeem code, entered the code, but nothing happens.
