What if we are using xp ? Then how to resolve this issue ?

BFBC2 FPS is so low and is unplayable. (Tweaks are in the of spoiler tab below the system specs.)

err i didnt change...

I have a weird problem.. No matter which way i move my mouse.. it will only goes up and turn left..any ideas?

Are you playing a legit copy?

guys.. i cant find the FOV to edit it.
any solution? mine is original copy.

@ lightonokira -- It is a bug already mention, the fov people notice is due to it more obvious especially when using not using red dot and so on. As for yours, i think it became more obvious when using red dot. Can you post up your settings.ini check if the FOV is there?

@ Seraph -- your settings.ini is kindda... fewer options really. But hey, you can actually add in the "FOV=55" yourself. I think it will works.... Unless.... Have you done your patching?

@ azr -- Do try to reset default for all your controls. Normally is accidentally bind a joystick axis. Or.... get the original copy and update patches... if u are using arhem la, and get the ori la, is worth every penny.

@ blue16 -- The tweaks only helps boost some fps, and no matter how, it is better to have the minimum specs. If really cannot then tune down the resolution also. If still cannot, i suggest do upgrade, cause this game is worth the minor upgrade, plus... more game coming out that gonna be around this minimum requirement. So sooner or later, the upgrade is still needed.

@ hive -- I think your should put the dxversion=auto, then if it still having that problem, then i think is better to wait for patch update, since it is a known bug. Also... for now, just don't man those MG, lol.

@ Seraph -- Not at home, later i post up a sample, but i think is only the FOV part of yours is left out, and the render ahead limit also not there.
but i not sure it is at the other file or not.
The above .ini file u got from your documents>bfbc2 folder is it?

Hrm,... i think you really gotten the bug, does it only happens for red dot sight?

anyone encounter this bug : crash to desktop when joining a server in multiplayer. Mine keep crashing to desktop without any error. Already updated drivers etc but still the same. Previously manage to play for few hours for the first time after I bought it. Then now keep having this bug. Single player works fine and I could join some servers, but most of the servers near me all CTD,eg. SALUZI, Fragnetics, MBTcentral.

Tried to reinstall but still same issue

forgot:
amd phenom2 x3 720
ati 4850
4gB ddr 3 ram
windows vista 64bit (UAC been disabled, router set to DMZ)

tested by disabling firewall, antivirus, spybot, run as admin but all the same, CTD when joining server. DirectX in settings.ini set to dx10, FOV set to default 55.

Will try to use pbsetup to re-update the pb tonight. Previously updated the wrong folder(not under appsdata folder, instead at game folder)

@lightonokira - Are you using a 4x scope for that gun? i think its juz d laser reticle showing up.

O that is 4x scope o, sorry my mistake. but the 4x scope got laser? i didnt get it yet, but beta version doesnt seem to encounter it.

@ khtan -- suggest you set the dxversion to 9 to try, and lower down your settings. what reso and setting you currently using? But... ma, 64bits, i never used 64 bits so I dont know.

I also got it when I use 4x scope for my guns. Notice it moves around when u sprint. So I guess its just the laser.

@khtan - Are you experiencing the CTD issues often yesterday or for quite some times? I'm having quite a number of CTDs as well yesterday

Hi , do u guys having problem to read the disc? I play for few days , but suddenly my cd rom cant detect the disc again , but other pc cd rom able to read , is that some sort of SECUROM problem or window problem , now wan to play also cant T_T
