Yea I tried looking for it, but could not find any mention of a cap. It's relatively common to have a cap (more like a fair usage). I know Unifi introduced it but eventually removed it due to public outcry

its unlimited so far.... as long as u never exceed 1tb , i guess it should be ok... btw , wat porn or hd movie that u download until 1tb ? lol ... i only download more or less 20-30gb monthly...no time to watch also ....

nah I doubt I'll even reach 20GB, just curious thats all, incase it was capped at 10GB or something. But otherwise it's cool!

Any1 not yet receive the free dect phone from TM ? They promise to courier the dect phone within 14days after confirmation. But now almost 2 months already, i still not yet receive the DectPhone. Where should i complain? i try to email help@tm.com.my , but they nvr reply me.

how long does it takes to upgrade connection speed from a lower speed???

I've registered for the 1mbps at TmPoint last tuesday.

depends your luck, if fast u will get the speed upgrade within 1 day, if slow within 3 days.

want to know, currently i'm using standard 1mbps package (RM88 without modem) + fixed line rent, so my total bill monthly is roughly RM115...been using this package since 2 years...

if i want to change to 4mbps package, do i need to submit new application and cancel my existing package? or i just can do the upgrade?

Is been 3 working days already...and I've yet to see any improvement on my speed...the counter girl the other day say she cant find any detail on this package(from streamyx combo to the 1mpbs Super deal promotion)...I think I'm f***ed....cuz she says usually it takes 7 working days....

upgrade to through the Super Deals promotion...it will be much worth it and save you a couple of ringgit.

just google through this package...although it save me some money every month (RM10), but the subscription will be renew to 24 month, instead of 12 months only if i change to BLOCKBUSTER DEAL...

do tm sent their technical to your house to activate the package ? u hav to contact him if ur line got problem during upgrading.

Any due date for this blockbuster packages ? remember super deal promotion ended in 4 months.

Today, I went to TMpoint at Burma Road, Penang to change my existing package to Blockbuster Deals 4Mb. However, I wanted to change the telephone owner's name and Streamyx Name to my name to enable me to file for Income Tax reduction. But it is not possible without a HASSLE.

What I eventually did was I just apply for a new Homeline and new Streamyx account. The officer told me that technicians will come to my place to install a new TM homeline in 3-4 days. I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Just go for blockbuster. I'm on 512Kbps for 5 years ( ) and finally last year upgraded to 1Mbps capped at 1.8Mbps using super upgrade deal. My monthly streamyx fee is Rm71+line rental it's RM90+. But since it came out before Blockbuster, I had to keep the package. 2 years is a lot. If not, I'd be willing to change to blockbuster.

Update Jun 29 2010:

Today three Telekom Contractors (Prakash, Loga and another elderly man) came to my house to install a new telephone line. The telephone line is working but cannot call out nor is there any streamyx connection available. I was charged RM50 for the wiring. I was told to wait 1 week for Streamyx to work on the new line.

sigh.... i tried to upgrade my 1Mb to 2Mb but kedai telekom staff claim that the exchange is too far so cant upgrade...= (((
