I just upgrade from 1Mb to 4Mb about 1 month ago. I asked the same question as you do now. So I think I should share my experience with whoever is interested to upgrade.

Overall, there is improvement.

Surfing: Not really noticeable much.
Youtube or other similar service: Improved (buffering time reduce quite a bit)
Download Rapidshare/Megaload (free service): Improved (from 50kb/s to around 90kb/s)
Torrent: I not really into it
Online gaming: Local - I do feel better. Oversea - I don't play
Stability: Improved (but stability can depend on many other things)
My happy index with internet connection: Improved 

Sorry don't have much to share, I am now busy with setting up my new rig, so don't have much time to online.

Not sure about the first bill, but I've never heard about paying to check for line stability.

Hello. I'll be renting an apartment in Taman Bayu Perdana, Klang cause i will be working in Westport. Any idea where a streamyx booth is near there so that i can apply the blockbuster deal ? i wanna catch the free wiring and installation..if go Tmpoint...i have to pay for these...

any idea what's the cap (fair usage) for the 1mbps plan?

Yea I tried looking for it, but could not find any mention of a cap. It's relatively common to have a cap (more like a fair usage). I know Unifi introduced it but eventually removed it due to public outcry

I just found that for 4mb package, the upload speed is only 512k thus I give up for this upgrade.

Just finish Installation for 2Mbps... get 3mbps hehehehe so far so good

I waited for more than 3 months already, still no sign of the dect phone.
Went to TM Point every month to complain.
Called 100 every 2 weeks to complain.
Still no sign of the dect phone.  

I think this blockbuster deal is better than the UNIFI isn't it?
For VIP5 plan which costs rm150, you get a 5mb download but it comes with a 60mb cap.
For blockbuster, rm140 you get a 4mb speed but without cap.
So it's better right? Or am I missing something?

im planning to switch from streamyx 1mbps rm77 to Blockbuster Deals 4mbps

Today TM called and offered me the 2Mbps deal @RM130.
I said i will think about it first.

Currently I pay RM88(1mb streamyx) + RM27 (average monthly TM Homeline bill) = RM 115 monthly(roughly)

Since we rarely use the house phone anymore + satisfied with my internet speed, I dun think there's any benefit if I get this BBD deal. Agree?
