Bro, a few points to take note.

(1) do u have a region-free blu-ray player? just so you're aware that blu-ray discs from UK could be region B locked, hence only playable on region B or region-free players (or BD-ROMs on PCs). so unless u have one of these, make sure the discs are region-free.

(2) for personal use, should not be taxable. to be on safe side, usually unwrap so that they appear "used" and make sure no multiple copies of same title. if your friend has been in the UK for a while (e.g. studying/working), all the better.

(3) however, they make kacan u not from the duty angle, but from the censorship angle.

That's what i can think of.

If u want to reclaim VAT, you'll need the receipt and make sure u have enough time at Heathrow as the queue can get very long at the VAT Refund counter.

Btw, just got this email from amazon uk:
QUOTE
Dear Customer,

We are writing to inform you that the Volcanic eruption of the Eyjafjallajokull in Iceland has affected the delivery of your order.

Your order has been delayed an extra 1-2 days at present due to air traffic restrictions. If there are any further delays expected, we will of course update you via e-mail.

Should your order arrive too late, please note that you have the option to refuse the parcel.

We are truly sorry for this delay which is beyond our control and thank you for your understanding.

Warmest regards

Nice love story wif fine acting by both leads.. thou there r epic battle scenes ala LOTR but where tat is concerned, its stil a long way off.. but then again u dont buy bollywood ttls for its fight scenes..
VDO is great n fully use hidef to its fullest.. Mrs Bachchan nvr looked so gud.. Colors were bright n popped..
ODO is surprsingly veri gud - its dts hdma5.1 utilises de surr chnls quite a bit n bass is strong .. battle scene wif de cannon fights were 'felt' .. its oso recorded a bit hot as compared to most hollywood 'referenced' discs..
Overall its worth stayin up de 3.5 hrs..

I'm suprised with the AQ comments as well cos d German version of this disc only has Dolby True-HD [IINM], and the French version has DTS HD MA [Bodega] , and the Big Home prod has all 3 Sound options.

The best version till date is the Big Home video ,the one D has as above. With slipcover brows.gif wub.gif

I believe the best PQ/AQ for Jodha Akhbar is the Bodega version. The only problem with that is it does not have English subtitles. Also the Bodega is 6.1 DTSHDMA....

That is good news. Can share the source link? Couldnt see it in blu-ray.com

By the way, target already selling avatar $20. Not sure if amazon going to price match. But now better buy UK version if region free
