Even if you eat in Shangri-la, I believe that that 3 servings won't even total up to RM120.

Of course you can add up on the hall renting and stuff, but the 10 course meal (albeit sucky taste) is way more worth it.

can i know what is the difference between BEng and MEng engineer? what means chattered engineer?

Hi, I'm due to study in Nottingham this April. Foundation in Engineering. I was just wondering how's life there. Is it safe? and how's the wifi in the hostels? Been reading through the V2 thread and was rather delighted to see many nice people. =)

Life here is boring. Study life. No entertainment.

Safe, if you don't wander around at night alone in the dark streets.
No wifi at hostel IINM, on LAN.

Well MaxisBB seems to be a viable option here. There's p1 but I'm not sure how good it is. DigiBB well IDK much about it as my friend mostly used his MaxisBB before he cut his DigiBB in the end.

Used to, no longer have it. You can ask the other tenants in campus to provide you with that.

The connection in the computer lab is awesome. Seriously awesome. You can't download, you can't torrent, and it's perfectly fine for education usage.

Youtube is fast though, especially the ones in the lecture halls. Used for educational purposes. Other than that it's capped. Don't worry you can still use facebook and everything.

Learning hub, is there even LAN connection there? I thought it's Wifi.
