3000 words essay due in 1 week, given a month ago, havent even start 1 single word

and the worst part is, the lecturer wants 25 references, all from books and not internet!!!

sigh, hate management for engineering

I just typed 3k words 2 days ago typing for me is easy, but referencing is troublesome

3000 words also not that hard for me, but the reference one is really............how the hell am I supposed to find reference about someone who is not even mentioned in books...all the info are from internet, and that lecturer dont want internet references

padahal he give punya question, both times the articles he just copy bulat bulat from internet and ask 4 questions expectng 3000 words and 25 references...FFS he better not continue lecturing next year batch coz we complained a lot about him in the student feedback last week..

HAHAHAHAHAH thats why some assessor sat in your class right? I think I know which class you are from.

We complained like hell on our accs teacher too. So on a few different ocassions a couple of people wearing suits came in to sit at the back of the class.

no bo, cant remember if any assessors came in at all...the way he lectures is okay, kinda arrogant but still acceptable with some humour at times..just the coursework he gave, never think that we are not really management or business students but gave us questions without freedom to look for sources wherever we want..

internet not considered primary sources mah
wait till you write a dissertation, references alone is at least 5-8 pages long

my friends and I have literally searched almost all the management books in the library and less than 10 is about the subject, some even not really related to what the question asked, so yeah 25 is something, at least for me

coursework, 3000words, 100% marks, brrr, so...cold...help

there's always a trick for referencing
the author of the book you read will also do reference right?
so use the reference as your reference too if you are using that particular point
even if you are not using it, try to use it
even if is not the main point
and i'm sure some of the information you get from internet also reference their work
at least this is how i did mine

yeah refer to the references in wikipedia. Though sometimes some crucial point in a long paragraph they don't do citations.

have you tried google scholar
you might be able to find some journals or articles that have references to other textbooks
i don't know much about Nottingham Malaysia
but i studies in uk campus
my supervisor told me, the first thing they see is your biblio
biblio long long = good first impression
