QUOTE(rxy @ May 2 2010, 06:57 PM) I studying Chemical Engineering. Thanks for the comment. Can I comment? Erm,it's only one module different each semester. So for 3 years course,it will be 6 modules different. I'd say the environmental one will go towards environmental stuff as pure chemical ones will get to learn more chemistry things. If I am not mistaken Nottingham's classes are fixed right? So you can't adjust the time for them .... If it is convenient for you can I know the time for when the class starts and ends for you? Cuz I'm thinking of driving there to study instead of finding accommodation near the campus. And I'm also curious about parking spaces in the campus too. Do I need to apply for sticker or something liek that? |

Hey just popping in to ask some questions :
Anyone know that does the university allow students to park inside the campus? If so do I need to apply for permissions or something? I plan to drive there since the distance isn't that far from my home. Also, I'll be studying Chem Engineering with Environment Engineering. So any seniors here that can give me advise on text books? I'm asking in the sense that do I need to buy brand new ones or can I opt for cheap 2nd hand or photocopied ones? Kinda regretted the decision to buy the expensive Chemistry text book CIE recommended when I was doing A-Levels. Thanks. |

Still got old village? @joanne_yan:You should attend IMHO..To know more ppl, unless u prefer to be self-dependent. About the kampung baru, went inside there to find breakfast at registration day. Quite ok lar. But not surprised people don't noticed it since the signboard at the turning is full of ah long ads. |

Sent my application form for TMNet Streamyx CoolUni Pack to the office.
Lady at the counter said 3 working days to process. I wonder how difficult is it to just make an endorsement ? |

QUOTE(DJFoo000 @ Oct 1 2010, 07:11 PM) Anyway, what do y'all think of the UNotts sweaters being sold at the SA Building entrance? Do they sell it every year? Lecture halls in F3 are so freaking cold I'm thinking of getting one. According to the email sent to me it was written :" International Students Bureau is again coming up with Nottingham Sweaters. This is the only chance for this semester. " So I assumed that they might sell again at the next semester. I was hoping it will be a zip up track-type jacket but then when I reached SA I saw it was a pullover type. But there was a lot of ppl there during lunch hour so never went up front to ask. |

QUOTE(tanjinjack @ Oct 10 2010, 11:01 PM) Is it dying or just running out of battery? If it's battery issue, just go to watch shop, they should have the replacement battery you need. If you are looking at switching a new one, you are still looking at dual-line at most (i.e., showing two rows at the same time), you can't get anything better because it's not allowed in the exam. Thanks for the reply. Anyways, interested to see all the booths at CS Fair tomoloz. |

I rather take Bahasa Kebangsaan than Malaysian/Moral Studies.
Anyways, Chem Eng schedule so tight till I can't even take up additional language module. So sad. |

Doesn't have to follow the law. Most internationals will go after completing their B.Eng.
That's like 1/3 of the class gone lol |
