That's the whole point isn't it? One of the main purpose u go to a foreign branch campus is also to experience the foreign culture, no?

But yes, please elaborate more. smile.gif

I found this in the config file if it helps you understand more?
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

I also saw this in the manual you linked me to:
--redirect-gateway [local] [def1]
(Experimental) Automatically execute routing commands to cause all outgoing IP traffic to be redirected over the VPN.

If that's possible, how to do the opposite to that? Meaning how to only cause certain traffic from certain softwares, e.g. only chrome.exe to be redirected over the VPN?

Let me rephrase my situation in very simple terms:
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Oh yea, forgot about Monash.  :-P So now it's a friendly competition.

Your software, running on what type of service? LAN, internet? What port?

Might need to config your iptables... Definitely cannot run away. This is tough lol.

Try Linux subforum... maybe can get a clue there from the forumers.

The software, I am not sure. I can't configure it, I believe it's in the config files of the software. I just plug in my laptop to the LAN, then run the software (also key in my user-name and password in the software). Oh every room has a fixed IP address.

Haha this is difficult, that's why I said it would be easier to setup a VPS and proxy. tongue.gif If you know how.

I don't think you enjoy an Australian culture in Monash, Swinburne and Curtin also right?
It's probably to experience the UK/Aus education and management, but enjoy the local cultures. One of the best examples is food. You don't eat steaks in their Malaysia campus, but mixed rice and roti canai.

I don't really know how to elaborate..
Just let it be..

Be it Nottingham or Monash,as long as one happy with it,then just let it be.\
Each has their own reason to support their POV.

ANd +1 to tanjinjack's comment.
You don't eat steaks in Malaysia campus..
I really doubt that..

When u go to China campus,u enjoy their culture..
Maybe able to eat "xiao long bao/guan tang jiao" everyday lol.

Why is there suddenly "must have been living in your own world" thing coming out of nowhere?
Ah well,Monash is the one which has the best world ranking in Malaysia.
Or should TS change to research uni..
I think this should be better..Haha..
Since our research department is undoubtedly stronger..
*
Well...depends on which ranking. We did pwn Monash in the recent ARWU and THE-Reuters ranking smile.gif

How about this?
http://www.topuniversities.com/university-...y-rankings/2010

and this.
http://www.arwu.org/ARWU2010.jsp

There's just too many rankings out there to ease people marketing their own institutions.

The THE-Reuters one is using new methodology, which which I'm not proficient enough to comment upon.

lol the rankings matter no more to us who are already students.

To add, those rankings look heavily upon researches, which is not that applicable to undergraduates, where teaching strength is more crucial than research strengths.

Yep that's the correct spelling.

But those aren't not the closest. It would be fish place, along the road towards Broga. Unless they've closed down?

lol rabbit satay. I never knew need to pay entrance fee until one day want go visit. Tot it's funded by a restaurant so wouldn't be a prob going in for free.

Never been to TTS though, but it should take the crown for nearest to get outside food.

Hello, I would just like to ask, I know Nottingham has a student exchange and transfer program to the UK campus. But i heard for engineering only September intake is possible for these transfers? Is it true? The Jan intake cant take the transfer?

^yeah the deadline is about 3 weeks into your 1st semester, and you need to have your 1st sem transcripts ready (which is impossible because you haven't had any exams yet). So it's impossible for Jan intake to apply for exchange for Year 2. Can try for Year 3 next year (assuming you're doing the 4 year MEng because you cannot exchange in your graduating year).

Dunno much about transfer.
