Is there any combined degree/ double degree/ major and minor degree/ offered in Nottingham? Such as engineering + finance or engineering + economics? Just wondering.

I don't think Notts have double degree programs.

What happens during induction?

Listening to some welcome messages etc. Important though as it has a brief on utilising the library resources.

For those of you who are interested in a new sport, head on down to the field on monday and wednesday at 5pm for Ultimate Frisbee. Players are friendly, willing to teach and always on the lookout for more players

Induction was creepy and boring. Sad to say that =/ Apparently alot of the staff were absent.

The best part of the induction is the course induction at the end. But it's really scary since she was talking bout failing and retaking and no honours and getting expelled........by failing 2 core modules?

Accounting and COUNTINGGG are not my forte.

I believe in your case if you fail 2 core modules then it's compulsory to resit them.

And to your last statement, I would say it's 90% mindset (barrier). The remaining 10% goes to actual differences in comprehension ability. Accounting and Quantitative Methods is all about practice.
