Seems like this batch of Persona Elegance have a lot minor issue. I think u need to change the Fuel Indicator or the wiring loose . Send to Serdang SC check.

The sound from braking from front or behind?

front tyre there..its like those old car without service always do..when i step slowly...got yiiiiii......yiiii yiii..then stop.. issit my brake disc got problem?

Where got such thing gauge still new?

Added on May 5, 2010, 8:47 pmi think is normal. Give ur brake pad and the rotor some time to bleed in, i think should be OK later. I know mine will have sound when slow speed braking , cause using Trestor Advantage Pad..(this pad is like that)

I just got my elegance M auto yesterday... having brake problem as well... when brake got "tak tak tak" sound... the sound came out from my left rear wheel...

That one is the brake pump behind problem. Alignment run a bit and clearance problem . Need some adjustment only. I fix mine at Midah SC.

My Duragloss order parcel arrived today

The first thing i did after reaching home is to had my engine wash..DIY method, clean clean engine bay. Luckily the car can fire up after washing..hehe:thumbs: I swear i will Never go for carwash center which charge rm40 alone for enginebay washing.

haha ..mine also ..when brake got tak taktak ..they say is IAFM problem.then when turning got kling klang sound..so suspect of the orifice valve problem..i've booked this friday SC in glenmarie infront of my office to fix..now im facing the petrol sign problem..it will show to empty and lighten up suddenly !!hope will ok soon

the left front wheel too have sound when doing hard cornering on the uneven road... i suppose is the ori valve?

i like the new Head Unit... it don't have the problem faced by the last persona... proton really look into this problems... good!

Oppss, i just had my DIY enginewash..going to check all eletronic components is it functional. Forgot to cover up the fusebox..

orifice install very very fast only. the rear brake got sound make u feel uneasy only. (Braking power will not affected)


I need to check the rubber holding the rear foldable seat whether the SC got sell or not. Drop 1 haiz..

send for checking asap....its definately not normal at all.....as u mention the fuel gauge drops and goes up out of sudden..i think it should be the wiring or wiring in the fuel pump problem that make the float giving wrong signal to the fuel gauge....send asap...

so far my elegance problem n solution after two weeks...

1. auto rev itself between 1-2k rpm rev ~ SC claim they had reset the ECU but the problem still occur after that...will complaint on next 5k servic
2. the front passenger door got gap ~ solved at SC, adjust the door hinge
3. rattling sound around HU especially i rev up to 3k and on uneven surface ~ solved by filling the gap under HU with a piece of paper
4 rear door got rattling sound when wind down the mirror ~ will complaint on next service
5 my signal stalk doesnt back to normal position (off position) after i turned into corner or junction..hav to off manually ~ happened sometimes only n will complaint on next service

not that cheap also...

fuuuuuu..... first day already trying to push the car to the limit....

haha, actually not yet limit. still can go more, but i don't want to anymore. I didn't downgrade lah.
i drove for more than 200km before i push the limits. when i reach the highway i speed till 180 for about 15 sec, then drop and cruise at 110. no big deal. my saga .3 12005 model when i first got the car i speed until 175 non stop from perak to kl no problem also. that was the last batch that is not computerized. so i cabut the thermostat and the car does not heat up. tune the carburator and adjust the valve till it can reach 195 and fc is same as viva for proper driving.

i noticed on bumpy roads, rear left side got whistling sound like tikus. dunno coming from which part. I tried to push the seats, pull the seat belt, open the boot and press press but no sound. need to go sc and fix the door indicator light for the trunk as well as check the irritating cute whistling sound. lol

sounds like the new 32 bit persona have more "electronic" problems. Reported by you guys so far are things like fuel gauge suddenly drop to zero, fluctuating rpm etc....

i guess they should not have released the 32 bit ecu into the market so soon.
