QUOTE(chteh0721 @ Feb 24 2010, 11:20 PM) just install zaptor evolve last sunday. i'll try to ask the manager about this matter when i bring it for service this weekend since i'm planning to install it too the effect are not too significant but still worth to have it after installing zaptor evolve : a)lighter pedal feel/ easy pick up b) noise from engine reduce ( but still considered quite noisy compare to other car) c) brighter light/lamp d) air-cond cooler than before by the way, does installing vs void the engine warranty? heard some forummer said ( other forum) need to remove the vs whenever send for service if not will void the warranty. izzit true? another question, i wonder should i invest Pivot than zaptor? is there any difference between them in terms of reliability? if i go for pivot, pivot is slightly more expensive by RM100 than zaptor evolve, is it worth it? hmm.... question question again |

well, its consider cheap though, thats because persona stock windscreen is using tempered glass, which is cheaper than laminated glass (cut cost). Difference between these 2 are they made in different process. But laminated is safer, tempered offers no protection. Most car that comes with UV stock glass are laminated. i just replaced my fiance's myvi windscreen due to the crack (S-shape 30-35cm long and crack itself with no reason), more expensive (RM650) cause the stock Myvi windscreen is UV laminated.

QUOTE(Hypro @ Mar 3 2010, 04:52 PM) I am thinking that it will have totally change the design or come out something new on it, or not same with the current design. Not much different from the current face lift, and those things also can do it outside. Agree with yhanwong 32bit ECU, don't know what's the different from the current ECU. well its just a facelifted version, dun expect any major changes from it unless you talking about all-new persona which proton is already in the process of designing. i just hope the 32-bit ECU can be upgradable for old persona. |

QUOTE(yhanwong @ Mar 4 2010, 01:35 PM) i thought warranty for brake system will void if we not using the bosch that set by proton? nope, it wont void since the brake pad consider wear and tear parts, which means wear and tears parts are not cover by warranty. correct me if i wrong.. thinking to change it also.. those black powder really make the rim ugly..... |

yesterday i just collected my car from SC for 5k service and bodyworks, guess what? my rear brake drum tick sound is finally solved! They finally fixed it no sound clicking and my whole brake system is now a lot better than before (just press a bit on brake pedal straight away can feel the force is pulling back the car), guess i no need to worry for changing a better brake pad
![]() the knocking and paintjob are nicely done as well, no one will know my car is being knocked before This post has been edited by NSX_MY: Mar 6 2010, 12:32 PM |

QUOTE(chteh0721 @ Mar 6 2010, 12:33 PM) RM530. i think if u go outside workshop for re-spray, should be cheaper.QUOTE(heavencloud @ Mar 6 2010, 12:44 PM) ermmm... brake judder, can be a few things causing it also. It can be the brake pads, or worst case, your disc warped. The steering vibrate, yes the front tires. The brake pedal also affected, means it is coming from the front tires also. The drums only connected to the handbrake lor. Thanks. Well i did ask the manager about it, but he said he not so sure becoz when the vendor came to sc that day to fix my car, he was in HQ for training (a hint If the braking system failure, then sure can claim warranty. But those like pads or warp disc, i dont think got warranty coverage (unless u just came out from showroom and got problem ady). One thing i afraid, later those sc saw you changed the aftermarket brake pads, they simply said the "not ori" brake pads caused the problem, so no warranty for u. Maybe? Err... before i start misleading people, i would like to clarify again that the best way to measure the exact oil level should be done during the engine is cold (leave it for a night). What i posted previously was for those that their oil level just touching the max level and think it is ok. Well, it will be in an overfill situation when it gets hot. So maybe the best to leave the oil 3/4 or 4/5 from the max level so basically what causing the "tik tik" sound? congratz on your "Nanako" revival |
