This morning went to the serdang sc and installed my 3 months awaited orifice valve doh.gif The result? The famous klunking sound gone! Really can't believe just a small sized rubber made the sound gone rclxub.gif

whoa... that long u have waited??? OMG. hahahaha.... Kesian betul.

Ya that small thing actually solved 99% of the klunking sound. Weird but true. Why i said 99%? Well actually it still happens but very rarely and under very unusual situations. For example, while making a full turn going up a parallel grooved pavement out of a basement car park once a while it does sound.

I asked why this little thing solved the sound problem. the mech told me that this valve somehow slows down the power steering fluid flow into / out of the spare tank and thus, solved the klunking sound.

Last month, I did went to SC to complain that everytime i go hard bump, i hear sound and I do suspect my absorber prob. So the SC put the orifice valve and says due to that..But I tested, I do still hear the sound...hmmm..sigh..
Oh yeah...I have sent my car to the mudguard shop to fold the fender in so that touch the fender. Only the rear.
The front is perfect.

Our Persona stock rims is 15' 6.0JJ, Offset: 46mm(1.8").

The best offset for upgrading to 17" rim is 40mm and tyre width is 205

i discover the sound right after get my car on november, i complaint at taman midah sc the stupid manager said is normal for persona, then i go to complaint at bukit serdang sc they straight away claim to motor for me.

the engineer said it won't affect the ecu if you just pull out then put it back, unless the battery totally flat then it might affect the ecu. sound no logic for me.

and they recommend to re-tune the ecu every 20k, mine now is only 13k

lulz... what to do... Well, i also have to agree, 99% solve the sound problem. I've been running to any uneven road on the way to office to test laugh.gif So far I can say only during a bad condition road i will hear a faint sound. But basically it is way better than before biggrin.gif

The fluid hitting with the tank can produce a metal klunking sound......? sweat.gif

Oooo.... becoz i met a guy working in the tmnet cyberjaya. He had to install a new stiffer suspension to prevent the tyre scrapping the fender when carrying 5 peoples during on bumpy roads hmm.gif

what to do... they said the valve is claim/selling like a hot cake sweat.gif So some sc that already pre-order a lot and some just order when customer claimed it.
