Anyone interest with my one week old Cooler Master U2? I'm selling it for RM70 with postage fee. I bought it @ RM82 from bruceleestore. Condition like brand new since it's only one week old, and original packages and receipt provided. Thanks

Not effective on the HP Dv6? hmm.gif

Effective, but thinking to get the U3 instead, due to the size.

Yeah.... I initially wanted the Asus N43Sn, then it never came to Malaysia (my friend who bought on the 1st week of April still haven't got his yet in Singapore) LOL laugh.gif
Then came the M14x.... But I still haven't purchase yet since I'm loyal customer to Mr. Docter rclxms.gif

Well, she said that the palm rest of the M500 gets quite hot (I disagree though) when she uses it compared to her old 4 years old 15.4" Dell Inspiron 6400... so she used back that laptop lo.. it may be physically damaged, but still running well laugh.gif
Old Inspirons, really reliable thumbup.gif

Yea, I think I should get a U3 as well.... the U2 fits ngam ngam for the 14" M500.... so it'll probably be too small or the M14x sad.gif

[PF] T.J., how are you going to buy your M14x since Mr Docter close shop already? sweat.gif
Don't know where to get best deal for AW now, got putochip sell it at sweet price, but it is M17x R2. unsure.gif

Yea lo, that's the thing, if only Dell updated the customizable nameplates 1 day earlier, I would have already got my M14x laugh.gif
Well, I'm sure the Doc will find a way, I'll wait for a while longer~
If not then really no choice lo sad.gif
I dunno who else is selling now haha sweat.gif

Hmm in case there is no good news from Doc then you are going to buy it directly from Dell? blush.gif

aiyo if I take M17x R2 from putochip, do you think worth it?the GPU is still kicking, it just that the processor is 1st gen i7. sweat.gif
If I customise M17x R3 to HD6970M on Dell website, the price difference is almost RM2k compared to dual HD5870M currently being sold by putochip. sad.gif

viper88 perhaps, he gives RM420 discount for purchases more than RM5k... something is better than nothing...

Well, the 1st gen i7 don't have integrated GPU... so the battery life is going to be very short... and the Arrandale i7 ain't exactly good for gaming compared to the SB ones...
The extra money for the huge performance leap would be worth it nod.gif
Just my 2 cents~

Its sad that the M18x is not coming to Malaysia sad.gif
The M17x R3 would be the most powerful Alienware laptop here then laugh.gif
Will let you know if Doc is back into business or if I can find any other sellers nod.gif

M17x R3 has awesome battery life. thumbup.gif

Also much lighter too. So putochip's R2 might be a good deal too, if you're just keeping it at home most of the time. laugh.gif

That's what was I thinking, since I will always hook up the AC adapter to it. So battery life maybe is not that important, but can't deny that putochip's price really tempting, not even reach RM7k. laugh.gif

But yeah maybe important if I am going to use it in flight. tongue.gif
The most important thing for me is gaming power flex.gif , but crossfire sometimes has problem with driver optimization. Hmm confuse confuse. rclxub.gif

IMO the best cooling pad is the Cooler Master Notepal U series. Can align the fan at the 'hot' area under your laptop. thumbup.gif

Yeap, I would say its the best for its price, but of course effectiveness may vary from laptop to laptop nod.gif
Still, its not without its cons:
- Exposed fans, though easy to clean, it gets dirtier much easier.... and based on my experiences, hair stands tend to get stuck into the rotor, and kill the fan laugh.gif
- Depending on laptops, some can't really sit properly on the protruding cushions on the cooler pad
- The fans cannot be placed at the front of the cooler pad because by doing that will cause the cooler pad to not being able to stand properly
- Only 1 USB extender and no fan speed control, though these are acceptable since we don't really use them nod.gif

Yeah. There are cons like what you mentioned above, but for the price we paid for it, it is acceptable. biggrin.gif
