QUOTE(joonwei23 @ Apr 27 2011, 10:34 AM) It is upper left or lower left?If it is upper left then you better get either U3, or Notepal Infinite, since with U3 you can position the fans whenever you want, and with Notepal Infinite, it will cool down large area of your laptop. If I am not mistaken NC2000 focuses more on the lower side of the laptop, you can go with it if you can live by using it in the opposite way or put the laptop way to the front so that the vents will be properly aligned. |

Dear sifus, I was wondering whether the addition of an extra 3rd fan for the U3 (compared to the U2) would decrease the average fan speed for each fan?
Or will the fan speed remain the same as that of the U2, only that it drains more energy from the laptop? Thanks thanks |

If it draw power from usb, then from what I've read it only allows 100mA to be used and maybe up to 500mA.Or will the fan speed remain the same as that of the U2, only that it drains more energy from the laptop? Thanks thanks The USB specification provides a 5 V (volts) supply on a single wire from which connected USB devices may draw power. So if more fans are attached, the fans could be slower because they are receiving current from the same source. Just my opinion though, not really sure about that. |

I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to electricities haha Your explanation seemed logical, its too bad they never mentioned the maximum average fan speed for the U2 and U3 Was thinking whether to get a U3 or another U2 for the M14x |

Anyone interest with my one week old Cooler Master U2? I'm selling it for RM70 with postage fee. I bought it @ RM82 from bruceleestore. Condition like brand new since it's only one week old, and original packages and receipt provided. Thanks
