No la, this one the warranty is very important if I want to opt for a refund/exchange or sue Toshiba lol... still no chance to do that since I need to wait for my next lappy vmad.gif
And since I don't (can't) game at all on the M500 because of the GPU incompatibility, I dun really need to change the thermal paste...
More interested in changing for the M14x.. I think there'll definitely be personal writings on how to do that I think since I heard that Dell offers crappy thermal pastes, might as well use our own? hmm.gif

Pretty good for me so far. nod.gif
It does its jobs well especially when the laptop is on full load, sometimes can reduce almost 7-8C. thumbup.gif
But you can't really see the effectiveness of the cooler during idle though.

Regarding the current price, not really sure. sweat.gif
I think it is less than hundred now, because it is old model already.

Notepal U3..place it on the lefthand side from upward to downward...There's where it generates the heat. Or best just use your stand fan to hit directly at the ventilation hole.

I own a DV6 with Zalman NC3000s...doesn't seem help a lot though since its a one big centralize fan on middle where the heat is actually from the very left handside
