well, i share some photo of internal G73JH-A1 and the GC between the M17x and G73JH
*
From the pics the G73JH should be more stable and better in controling voltage and heat, but some how mine not really that good. Anyway I think maybe Asus is tryin to figure out a better heat management. I still don't like their vbios can't make the gpu 300 and memory 500 and must use ati clock software to do it. I got used to it but if other users I don't think they can get used to it. The M15x can downclock without problem currently the 260gtx can run gpu 200 and memory 120 temps only around 40-42 the Asus 5870 after I downclock gets around 53-55 rclxms.gif Lets give Asus some time hope they can fix their bugs soon. rclxm9.gif

bro, we can compare GTX260M which is much more low end, and 5870 is higher end......
1 morething is, Alienware M15x have good air flowing, G73JH dont have any hole under the fan.....

If I want to check it via GPU-Z 0.4.3, I should refer to "Driver Version"? Mine is atiumdag 8.683.0.0. hmm.gif

we ve a happy man here... laugh.gif reminds me of the day i received my N81Vp after waiting for 2 weeks... that's 1 yr ago... tongue.gif

anyway, as much as some may like the rubberized surface, one problem with it is that it is not as scratch resistant as normal plastic...

Agree! nod.gif However, I still prefer rubberized surface than glossy black surface which I personally believe that it is more fingerprints and scratch prone. laugh.gif

IMHO, it is better to call them 1st before you go there by yourself. As for the customs location, EvilDevil118 collected his notebook from Sepang customs but I'm not so sure whether yours at there or not. hmm.gif

Anyway, for those who wanted to get the A1 batch laptop in melbourne. Well, there's one store i confirmed they're having stock but they're selling at Aus$ 2443 which is rather expensive if u convert it to myr. Getting it from US is way cheaper.

My suggestion for now, wait for g53 release. LoL.

Yea. Prices of electronics in Australia is rclxub.gif which is bad for me . . since I will be moving there in a month lolz. vmad.gif

However, I think the Aussie package comes with a customized head set as well HAHA smile.gif

I think the G53 would be perfect for those who doesn't wanna go through the trouble of getting familiar with a HUGE laptop smile.gif It was quite a shock for me at first when I received my G73, but I am pretty used to it now. smile.gif

After comparing the G73JH and M15x I feel both is about the same weight just the size slightly diff abit around few inches bigger only. If want spec G73JH is best, if want looks and size maybe M15x is better. Both also good laptop thumbup.gif

M17x definitely out of the question.

You are welcome! I'm happy that I can help you out. Anyway, did the customs disturb your notebook?
