I did play some games. For example, Devil May Cry 4 which run smoothly on my notebook too. Maybe I will try out some other games too in future. Enjoy your notebook!

* Currently busy spending my summer holiday at Nizza, Monaco and other small villages at France. No time for testing games. -.-

I think DMC4 street fighter 4, RE5 or any capcom games are very light on the gpu, easily able to run full hd and max detail but no aa. Metro 2003 I can only run at 1600X900 coz they auto run aa maybe if manually turn off aa then can run at full hd. drool.gif

So far u guys have no prob with the gsod right ? Btw Cat 10.6 came out edi duno how is the performance. brows.gif

Damn busy recently. sad.gif I have no GSOD for the time being. Maybe I have not tried many games yet. biggrin.gif As for the VBIOS, I'm still using the stock one. Maybe after exams then I will try to upgrade it. brows.gif

I've just completed my order for my Asus G73JH-A1 with GenTech PC. Ken Lee was really helpful when I called him. I will keep you all posted on their service & the moment my laptop arrives. Here is some useful information for would be future buyers:

1.) Payment is not difficult for Wire Transfer through our local banks. You don't even need an account with the bank. Go to the customer service counter, let them know you want to wire transfer/TT to US and they will give you a form to fill up.

2.) I did my payment through Maybank and I do not have a personal account there.

3.) Maybank service charge is RM 25 on top of the amount you will be sending. Gentech will add USD 30 to your total for their bank fees in the US. Maybank has the cheapest service charge compared to three other banks in my area. (Hong Leong, CIMB & Public Bank). CIMB has the worst TT rates.

4.) I got a surprise free gift from Maybank for using their services. To be honest I did not expect anything after the transaction. Must be my lucky day biggrin.gif rclxm9.gif

I read through the entire Thread from beginning to end before deciding to purchase this notebook. You can find all the information you need from the helpful members to assist you in purchasing this laptop online. A special Thank You to EvilDevil118 for letting me know the location of Pos Laju at LCCT if my laptop is held by customs for inspection. I'm hoping it would not be held and the laptop would be delivered to my doorstep tongue.gif

notworthy.gif Hope u get ur lappie soon, don't worry bout the customs, they are quite friendly as long as u go in proper attire. I guess if we go looking like samseng they would be treating us like one I guess. sweat.gif

I guess the A1 and A2 is in stock so future buyers can consider bout it. As for me, after few weeks using M15x I think I would prefer this more than the G73JH coz of the size. Actually both don't really feel that much of a different in terms of weight just size slightly bigger. Maybe I will get another G73JH if I manage to sell the M15x this week. rolleyes.gif

LOL! Can't really make up your mind on which to keep? If size is going to be an issue and budget is not a problem, you could probably upgrade the M15x further to outpace the G73JH. Then you will get the exact laptop to fit your requirements smile.gif
