thanx man....I'll take up your offer on that...next month I'll be buying it for sure....now I'm still not back in Malaysia...huhuhuhuhu...

Added on June 8, 2010, 11:32 pmbut Jeffry1987, does GentechPc has ready stock available? so far Xotic back order have to wait for 6to8 weeks or more (not including shipping time), same as Provantage, Mucro no reply(huhuhuuhu)..Amazon has ready stock, but price is higher than fore mentioned e-sellers...so the best choice here IS GenTechPC, provided they can surely deliver in a few weeks times....( I dun have the patience to wait) huhuhuhuhuhuhu...After careful considerations (and alot of "racun"..biggrin.gif) I will by this model next month....thats why I'm researching now for the best priced, reliable seller, etc.... hehehe... btw this IS the first time I'll be buying anything from the net......huhuhu
*
If I'm not mistaken, GenTechPC will have Asus G73Jh-A2 in stock by next week. Anyway, I can help you to ask him and reply you as soon as possible. Usually, GenTechPC will send the unit out as soon as your payment has confirmed. For example, it only took EvilDevil118 for approximately 1 week to arrive at Sepang. Super FAST I can say. thumbup.gif

Someone told me Asus will shipping out GH73JH stocks this June 15. But most retailers still need to fill their pre-orders... So if you order it you still probably in the waiting list for next month stocks maybe..

this beast is selling like hot cakes!

If you don't mind to pay more like USD50 - USD100, you can check out some online auction sites for it! wink.gif

i do Pm them . they say they willing to postage laptops to malaysia but using UPS only ....
and he say using UPS will reach my doorstep by not having KASTAM hassle ....... but i have some question is is BTO this COMPANY trusted ??
*
The representative from BTOTech are quite active in the NBR forums..so I guess reliability in the states itself is not a problem. Do remember all these internet resellers depend alot on good reviews by their customers, so they should be ok. However, don't take my word for it . . go do your research and send them countless mails until you're satisfied. smile.gif

Sidenote: This thread has just reached 40 pages, and I've seen plenty of repeat questions that has been answered in previous post . . so go through them before asking a question.

Ermm..how do you call that a bad experience? It is called proper procedures wink.gif

(but I don't think you need to pay RM5 for the pass at the guardpost. I only needed to hand over a photo identification)

Well my advice is when goin to goverment or companies please wear smart dun wear singlet and bermudas sure those ppl will look down on u and treat u like beggar. If ur collecting an item on behalf of company or another person u need the proper papers and company chop. I collect my own item so just need my ic to see the name and they allow me to take my item edi. At the guard post there if u look like ah beng or ah seng, (no pun intended) the guards aka police officers won't let u in as they assume ur not on official business. I believe even ourselves won't talk with customers if they don't wear up to standard and bring proper documents right ?

Anyway the only complain I have is the pos malaysia counter 3 ladies there but only one working the other 2 is just there to talk and complain. shakehead.gif I had my laptop with me less than 10 minutes i'm in the pos malaysia customs counter then took almost 1 hour waiting for the pos malaysia counter to issue me the declare form. Then straight to the counter to pass up the form and collect the approval papers and out I go. thumbup.gif

The charges for USPS is 149 and fedex or ups or dhl is 332.xx. Usps is quite fast, 6 days upon collection I believe if they sent out on monday maybe friday or thursday can get edi coz my item is sent out on friday and arrive on wednesday night. I went to collect it on Thursday. laugh.gif

btw all G73jh user
are the power adapter can me use in MALAYSIA ??
my relative say the power adapter is not for malaysia 230
SHE WROTE me this (( remember wor...volt 110 to 220 must use converter to charge ))
*
110V-220V means the adapter can use from 110V for US and also 220V for us Malaysia and UK. If u see 110-220 means it's compatible no need step down or step up converter. If u see an adapter only got 110V then u need a converter. So far 110-220 I go everywhere also can use just need the UK plug coz the original plug is US style.

Hello guys, eventually I have successfully claimed/ cleared my Asus G73Jh-A2 from the Germany local customs. rclxm9.gif Super excited now!

First and foremost, I did an unboxing video for my notebook and I will try my best to upload it to YouTube in these 2 days as there are many assignments are waiting for me at the study table now. biggrin.gif

First impression of this notebook? Ultimate content for its physical looks especially the rubberized and matte black finish of this notebook. It was extremely gorgeous no matter from outside or inside of this "beast". The only "little let down" is the size which is a little bit big for me but it is still fine enough for me. laugh.gif

First step after booting up the Windows is creating the recovery disc via "Ai Recovery Burner". It required 6 blank DVD+/-R disc. It took me some time for creating these recovery disc. sweat.gif

That's all for the time being. I will update you guys with more "steps" to go. Asus Go, Jeffrey Go . . . thumbup.gif

I'm using Zalman NC2000 for this "beast". It may varies the temperature of the CPU and GPU by 2 degree celsius. Good enough? hmm.gif

Actually with a cooler pad it does help as the bottom of the laptop got venting hole, maybe getting a sucking instread of blowing, coz the bottom got the rams, hdd and gpu. I didn't really see a big difference with and without max also 5'c. The place the laptop gets air is below the lcd hinge according to nbr reports. But one thing to note is the gpu temp for my g73jh is max 93'c while the m15x with 260gtx max is 90'c. Btw I just got the orion backpack rclxms.gif

Gratz bro alas u get ur babe edi. Hope u can test it out properly and later if needed upgrade to the 209 bios. I kinda miss it but the size is really huge. Kinda waste as I couldn't see if it could fit the Alienware Orion backpack or not. Just got the backpacks today. rclxm9.gif

I knew that it was quite big in size. laugh.gif Nevertheless, the size is not that significant for me as I seldom bring it out from my student hostel. biggrin.gif

Thanks! biggrin.gif I'm trying to check it out 1 by 1 but currently too busy with my assignments. sweat.gif

For the time being, I think I will be staying with the stock version 1st. Maybe in future, I will upgrade it.

Where did you bought your Orion Backpack? I'm kinda love it too. brows.gif
