Anyone from Puchong ?

Last week i saw them near my house...with big HSBB signboard near their testing spot.

I did ask them when ?......one of the guys said most probably in June-July for Puchong areas...

just saw TM worker with a blue jacket lurking behind my house checking the fiber box...although the fiber box already installed month ago...might be I can be a beta tester??? btw I already got the email same as u guys saying that my place not in test and buy area...

Dunno why TM want to be so secretive. It generates interest for HSBB which would be good for them, and apart from the pings to outside world, the actual speed is very good. Just let us drool over those videos/pictures/info. Oi TM staff.. go work on improving the connections than waste time reading forums and whatnot.

taman bukti puchong 2 has been installed with fiber box. dunno when can use. i just saw it behind my sis house yesterday.

Bandar Puteri Puchong also being installed already with that FTTH Box

this area older than the bukit puchong and more resident here leh

im not too sure but maybe TM also considers the socio-economic status of areas they are implementing HSBB

take Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Bangsar, Subang Jaya and Shah Alam for example; these are wealthy and established towns, probably why they started here first.

well it was their business decision. perhaps a technical decision as well.

went to tm point today. Asking there if i can be the test and buy user or whatever they called. Unfortunately, the test an buy is over. There are installing for the try and buy user starting today in Shah Alam.

Since I cannot test their HSBB, so I sign up for their HSBB. If my area is supported, then tehy will call me if still interested to join or not. I just give my name, later after, if the price is right, I will subscribe to them.

About the HSBB, I ask the customer support at TM point regarding HSBB. Regarding the IPTV, she said that at first, they will be 9 channels including RTM1, RTM2 and donno what else. She said the minimum speed for HSBB is 20mbps. Now, I just wait for them to call for pricing. Hope it will be cheap. Hope to be below RM160

indeed will be lower than RM160 . Minimum of 20Mbps is very good. Hopefully 100Mbps also available and affordable.
