QUOTE(fabianz03 @ Feb 20 2010, 08:01 PM) Uh, is HSBB sharing the same bandwith with Streamyx ? Just say like TM have 100Gbps for Streamyx. When HSBB lauches, they use 100Gbps that is reserved for Streamyx for that service. I hope they better not. it used different metro-E which mean not same with streamyx

QUOTE(confused-freaker @ Feb 24 2010, 12:32 PM) W00t, the other day tm guys came to my street's fiber hub to troubleshoot something... » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « [attachmentid=1455572] ORL( optical reflection loss ) reading... it seems they have been having this problem the whole day fixing it, signal should be at least 50dB and above to ensure the minimum requirements are met. » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « [attachmentid=1455575] The whole setup of that hub » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « [attachmentid=1455582] Closer zoom to the hub, there are 8 optical ports... and they told me that if all home users were to subscribe, the maximum speed they could sustain is 15Mbps for each home user... lol dat wat it called Pedestal box. QUOTE i wanna ask some things, 1. TM NET (Streamyx) have new IP? i see video (user post) http://en.utrace.de/?query=110.159.137.1562. That ADSL2+ Annex M or VDSL or Change modem? impossible ADSL2+M can handle 10mbps++ upload, VDSL i think can, Fiber Modem also can 3. Streamyx has new Package? high speed is 10mbps or 20mbps? 4. Fiber will convert to copper or direct fiber to modem? 4 question only, i stay at Seremban, HSBB at Negeri 9 now deploying, so i can get ready ^.^ vdsl still use end copper for hi rise / condo with high bandwidth. all i can said dat vdsl modem looked like xbox 360 or Wii (white color) on vertical position

QUOTE(TakanoKyohei @ Mar 1 2010, 01:33 PM) AFAIK, the copper cable also can support up to 8 user/homeline on each pole.. lol..for one FDP, split to 8 is enough.. which mean support 8 house around 100m. then add more FDP to another pole.
